Food Town Fresh Market of Toledo — Attraction in Toledo

I sometimes get bored, fire up Google maps, and look at random places in towns I never visit. Food Town of Toledo is one of those places. I have never been here and probably never will. But for the past few weeks, I get a random notification from Google begging them to tell me how a shopping experience at a store I have never been in. Every time it happens I break out into a cold sweat, like I would in 5th grade math when the teacher would ask me what the answer to #3 was on last night's homework. "I don't know" was an unacceptable answer then, and apparently it still is.

So here is my review. -The food is fresh...I think. -The prices are high... probably... but they're high everywhere. (I know they say grow your own food, but I've planted 45 Cheez It's and several Oreos this spring, and not a damn one has sprouted.) -The parking lot is well maintained.... maybe. -The workers are friendly. At least the ones in my imaginary shopping trip were. -The store was clean. So clean I didn't have a single smudge or wrinkle on my shirt because my trip to Food Town took place on my phone and in my head.

So there you go. Dear Google, there's your damn review. Now please stop...

I would say that in the last six months the quality of many items is just not there, AT ALL!!. I have purchased the chopped salads in bags and brought them home(even though the freshness date was still supposed to be good) and the lettuce was mushy and brown. Another time, the wrapped deli meats were discolored with expired dates in the case. Once we purchased packaged Nutty Buddy cookie bars and they were very stale. Looked at the date on the package and it was a month beyond the freshness date!! Now today I purchased a bakery item and unfortunately didn't notice until I got home that it was all moldy!! Luckily I turned it over and saw all the mold before we opened and ate it not knowing!! This is just uncalled for. A consumer shouldn't have to check everything so carefully before purchasing in a grocery store. The manager should be making sure the employees are looking at these things! NO MORE FOODTOWN FOR US, which is sad because we love the convenience and closeness to our home. Should be put out...

I spend 2-2500 CASH.thru out the month up in here.I come in here all the time because it's close to home. Tonight I'm a little upset I come in to do cash back which me..my kids and my niece use at your store and this time I do it your ..I accidentally hit the wrong number and needed a few more dollars because I'm doing laundry and now she wants to complain about doing two Trans actions because of your policy..BUT IVE SEEN YOU DO IT. SHE JUST PASSED JUDGEMENT ON ME FOR THE WAY I LOOKED I don't appreciate it and yes I'm so upset I'm sitting here I. Your parking lot leaving a bad review. She has no right to judge me by my appearance. I come in all dolled up its smiles. I come in on laundry day she turns her nose up and embarrassed me at the register. I WILL GO TO KROGERS WHERE THERES NO PROBLEM BEFORE I COME BACK UP IN HERE ..ILL BE EXTREMELY DESPERATE AND EVEN THEN I MAY CHOOSE FAMILY DOLLAR AND...
