Located next to the Maumee River on Broadway/River Rd at the end of Harvard. This park is an ideal collaboration of city life meets country living. Lots of playgrounds, open spaces, grills, picnic tables, and comfortable benches to enjoy. There's an 1-mile paved path surrounding the entire park. About a 1/4 mile of the walking path has huge, old trees lining it to create a magical, enchanted corridor. The park offers beautiful views of the river. A boat launch is near by. The Maumee River Boating Club is within walking distance, with a restaurant opened to the public for lunch Tuesday -Friday, 11AM-1PM. The food is tasty, and reasonably priced. The views from the restaurant are open to the river. Seating is available both inside and outside the restaurant. The park has a gazebo that is ideal for weddings on the river. There is a stone building with a fireplace that holds about 150 - people which is ideal for renting. There is also a large outdoor covered venue with grills that can be rented. Across the street from park are 💯 year old,...

Only we can protect the environment from getting worse and make this world a...
Read moreI've always enjoyed coming to this park, I grew up here. I've had first dates, first kisses, family picnics, family reunions, birthdays, anniversaries here. The only things I would change is that the playground my children play on is the same exact playground that I played on- it's time for an update and also, it's about time we get an official bathroom here!! Other than those small changes, I truly enjoy this park. There's a walking path around the park with a beautiful overlook of the Maumee river, two playsets, swings with and without accessibility seating and for babies, benches, tables, grills, tons of space and nature, 3 parking lots, shelter houses,...
