N J Nails — Attraction in Toms River

If I could rate this Salon a 0, I would. Absolutely unprofessional. Not to mention the place was dirty. The staff is incredibly rude. Waited 3 hours in the salon to get my nails done and Peter who did my nails rushed the entire time. I showed him a photo of what I wanted done and said he would be able to do it. Rushed between getting my nails done and jumped back and forth between another customer and I, taking turns doing our manicures. Couldn’t get his airbrush machine to work so he started getting frustrated. I showed him that one of the nails didn’t look right after he finished and asked nicely if he could fix it. Said I would have to come back Tuesday to get it done since he “had no more time” Called ahead of time, waited 45 mins to get it done. Showed him how the nails were all bubbling and peeling and was extremely rude and told me he wouldn’t fix them and it was somehow my fault. I explained that I paid for the service and the nails shouldn’t be peeling and cracking after 3 days. He then told me to leave since he could do a nothing for me. I left crying. Went across the street to Vivians and the staff was amazing. I explained my situation and they felt horrible and fixed my nails for me for a lower cost. Will only go to Vivians...

Ugh. Really wanted to love this place. When you walk in it’s very pretty, very clean. Great atmosphere. But the nail tech that worked on my nails rushed my gel manicure. Not a huge fan of how it came out, gel on my skin, and the polish is uneven. Not the best at shaping nails at all. On top of the fact that they charge $15 for a toe polish change and my 10 year old could’ve done a better job.

I feel they’re overpriced big time. I’d be willing to pay that kind of money if it were worth it. I was referred to this salon who gets her nails done by a woman name Laura. She’s apparently amazing. Other than that not worth the price. Only reason I came was because my nail salon was booked until the following week....

Tina was astonishingly unprofessional. I ran 5 minutes late to my appointment, after driving an hour to get to the salon, (which she is WELL aware of) and walked in only for her to tell me "she waited 10 minutes and called another client in" and proceeded to pawn me off onto another nail tech. I asked her how she waited 10 minutes, and showed her on my phone, the time... absolutely IMPOSSIBLE because sitting in the chair, I was only 8 minutes past my scheduled time. She REFUSED to call the client back. I am absolutely astonished at the lack of courtesy and lack of professionalism. Completely disgusted and infuriated! That is NOT how you run a business!!!
