Arrived tonight and started off great. Sat fast and drinks came fast. Then they took our orders and nothing came. 1 appetizer appeared every 10 minutes. After an hour of them catching up on appetizers, we gave our sushi order. They then tried to give us another round of appetizers that we did not order. We told the waitress that we already ate what they were trying to offer but she insisted on giving us more. We kindly said no since we just ate this.
We then saw a table next to us get up and leave due to slow service and not receiving any food or update.
Shortly after they left, another table left and we overheard the customer say “I have been here for 45 minutes waiting and youre telling me now that youre out of rice? Why dont you tell everyone that you are out of rice?”
I understand this is a new establishment however, let everyone know. Give us the opportunity to order something you can make, or give us a discount and let us leave without the sushi.
The waitresses were very confused while trying to bring stuff to tables, they didn’t know where anything was supposed to go. The manager was walking around smiling like nothing was wrong.
Multiple parties left, and when we left most remaining parties were thinking about leaving.

Read moreI got the all you can eat lunch and tried a variety of things. Service was quick and anything without rice was good but the rice for the sushi as well as the hibachi had an odd flavor offsetting whatever it was served with. I can’t describe it other than to say it might have been some sort of preservative in the rice. It wasn’t a chemical taste, it just made you instantly not want to eat another bite. So would I go back, I’m on the fence and if I did I’d get non rice items. For the price you could go to an Asian buffet twice. Both local alternate buffets in the area have sushi as well. The sushi rolls here seemed to be all filler. I didn’t see any of the fish I ordered in them. So shop around before spending $40 per person with tip. Oh, they also are overcharging on their pre determined tip (on the check). They are calculating your tip with sales tax which means you are getting overcharged if you use their suggested tip amount. This is a common shady practice to get their servers more money. Owners simply go into their point of sale software and uncheck the box that creates your suggested tip with tax. It’s ripping off your customers. One last thing, when your staff orders their lunch from an outside restaurant It kind of sends...
Read moreA BYOB newcomer to the area, the dining room is light, well appointed, fun and contemporary. But that doesn't make up for the food, which in shot, was disappointing. I do not remember getting tuna rolls with the tuna with the consistency of ground beef. It was also supposed to be spicy tuna, and that fell very far short. My GF got spicy salmon that was not spicy either, she did enjoy her seaweed salad. I got the Tonkotsu (which was pork) and if you've read my other reviews, I can't help but compare to my all time fave Monta Ramen. This Tonkotsu was not even close. There was corn in it, never saw that one before. I ordered it spicy and it was barely that, but the roast pork was very thinly sliced and wasn't very good and the noodles definitely did not compare.
I know the place is new and I'll give it some time to find it's feet, but even if the food is reasonably priced, it doesn't matter if it's not appetizing.
