Extremely disappointed with this place. Went a few weeks ago for a Pedi. They gave me a very young girl who was preoccupied with her phone. She was touching my feet and her phone.. what? Leaning over with my foot still in her hand "massaging" while she's trying to read a text message.
The whole pedi lasted about 20 minutes. The reason I even got a Pedi was for a good scrub because I was going to be wearing strappy shoes for a date. She spent all of 10 seconds on each foot, I had to ask her 3 times to just scrub the rough spot on the outside of my big toe. I was ready to just do it myself. Legit could have gotten a callous scraper and done it myself in less than a minute. Except, I spent something like 45-$50+ tip. Which is what I pay at my other salon which takes them about 45 minutes and they take the time to do the massage, do the exfoliant, etc. I don't even care about the polish.
Then, they were nice enough to fit me in for a gel mani, great. I sat down at the booth and noticed a layer of film on the nail color swatches. Like caked-on. The woman who did my nails was super sweet, but not really capable of using a grinder so her son quickly jumped in to take care of my old polish. That was sweet and I was happy that he did it to save time, etc.
But then I noticed the client he was working on. No shade to the client, she was super sweet. It was her nails. No self respecting nail tech would be putting nails on this woman considering the condition of them. When he was grinding them down, you could smell it. I wondered if she had a fungus or a nail infection. I glanced over to see her natural nails were yellowed, cracking. One nail, as he inspected it, looked like it was about to fall off. I mean kudos to him, because he did great work regardless, but part of being a nail tech is maintaining the health and integrity of the nail and I wasn't seeing that. I also didn't like that I was sitting in the same air with nail dust that could have potentially been full of fungus or whatever. The smell was BAD.
I feel like there are things about this place that are unsanitary and unprofessional. They seemed like good enough people, but I believe there needs to be an overhaul.

Read moreI am not one to usually leave a bad review, but I’ve come to this place before, never for acrylics though, this was my first time. I called early in the morning for an appointment and the girl on the phone said it wasn’t necessary, just in case i made one anyways. when i arrived i waited about 10 minutes then I was sat down in a chair and the nail tech still hadn’t come to start my nails, about 25 minutes or so went by and I was told to go to another nail tech he began buffing my maid, no cuticle clean up, no nail trim, felt rushed. He began applying the acrylic and it kept getting around my nails, under my nails, and on the skin of my fingers underneath. I was told to cure my hand as he began the other hand, i felt a burning sensation and i thought oh this must be normal until i pulled my hand it and it was burning my skin, i noticed acrylic was attached to my skin and it had just been cured, before i could cure my other hand i was moved to another nail tech. I told him my hand had not been cured yet and he said don’t worry. I trust the nail tech because well they are the nail tech. I told him my skin was burning and he kept being so rough where i told him it hurt, he said i was fine sprayed a little water and continued to put a lot of pressure, i kept saying ow because it hurt so bad, if i’m not mistaken it seemed as if he was getting annoyed and rolling his eyes. When i checked my finger i had open flesh from him trying to drill at the acrylic stuck to my finger, and how rough he was filing my nails down. It hurt but I got through the pain because i felt as if there was no going back. I payed and left a tip, but i may try going back there again, just with a different person, but this experience was horrible, especially knowing i payed $50 for nails that are uneven, not shaped the same, all different lengths, etc. I will say they are clean, it’s a beautiful environment, just a bad nail day with not so...
Read moreLooking for a new nail salon since moving to South Jersey. Called and made appointment for a regular manicure and pedicure. Told on the phone appointments not necessary, walk in welcome. I stated I prefer appointment. Arrived, plenty of parking. Salon was busy, lots of clients. Thought to myself, ok good sign so far. Greeted at the desk. Instructed to wash my hands and pick a color. No other guidance. I walked into salon, looking for a sink. Sink located halfway into the salon. I didn't see any nail color bottles. So l had to go to the front desk and ask where are the nail colors. Directed to the nail color books on a shelf by the entrance. Picked my color, was seated at a station. Shortly afterwards, asked to move to another station. Manicurist I specifically requested she focus on my cuticles.
Manicure took maybe 10 minutes. Proceed to pedicure. Toe nails looked good, even though I still had some rough skin patches on the soles of my feet. I looked at my finger nails and disappointed. My nails and hands shouldn't look like immediately after a manicure. Went to drying station for a few minutes. Went to pay, I was asked for my tickets. I wasn't given tickets. Cashier has to go to manicurists to get tickets. Appointment was for 2pm and paid by 2:34pm on receipt. The actual time was about 2:45pm. Expensive manicure that looked horrible. l asked for regular manicure and pedicure-charged for upgraded nail service. Nothing upgraded about my manicure, I would say the exact opposite, definite downgrade. As a first time client, a little bit more guidance on where the sink and colors are. Manicure needs to be done properly.
By the evening, one finger nail had chipped.
Next day, by the end of my work day 7 out of my finger nails had...
