I would like to start this review by stating that I’ve only left a negative review once in my entire life for a restaurant. I spent several years in the food and service industry and I know that a lot of complaints people have it’s usually just because they don’t know how it all works. But by god this was the absolute WORST breakfast I have ever paid for in my entire life. The chef in the kitchen has ZERO business serving the food he served today. A breakfast skillet. Something simple and very hard to mess up. Let’s start with appearance. Whatever cheap shredded cheese was used to make my plate hardened like plastic. The eggs underneath were browned and over cooked. The bell peppers mixed into the flavorless eggs were OLD. I’m very familiar with what happens to prepped peppers when they are left in a pan too long. I could taste the pepper juice that was oozing out of them. Absolutely disgusting. Now let’s move to the bottom of the dish. Home fries. Nice browned and crispy potatoes as a bed for the food above it? In your dreams. The potatoes were the most flavorless, wet, and undercooked things on the plate. They looked like they were sliced, boiled, strained and put on my plate. There is no way any of those potatoes touched a hot pan. Being that I don’t like to waste my money or food I ate what I could of the eggs but the rest of my plate definitely made its way to the trash in the kitchen. Another guest at our table had eggs Benedict with steak and that’s a whole different story. Both of the poached eggs were severely over cooked, they were essentially hard boiled. Zero run to the yolk. The steak was well done and had zero sear marks. How is that possible? How is it possible to have such a cooked piece of meat without a crust? Sous vide? If that’s the case you still need to make it look appetizing for your customer which generally involves a sear mark on the meat. Your Kitchen staff seems to be more than incompetent, failing on such simple breakfast staples should be unacceptable. This was my first and last time eating here, do yourself a favor and get yourself a chef that knows what they’re doing. Months of this garbage will surely be bad for business.
Aside from the food the service was excellent, I don’t seem to remember our waitresses name but she was attentive and kind. The actual atmosphere itself is better than most of the roadside diners we have in the surrounding areas. Definitely is apparent they are trying to stay modern. But the food was all crap. Read moreThe worst meal I have had out in years. *Spinach/artichoke dip had LITERALLY no flavor *Crabcakes the ratio of filler to crab meat 7:3 or worse *Cooked spinach not chopped, served whole with whole stems *Baked potato undercooked and barely warm When I asked for another glass of water with lemon the waitress took my glass from the table and just filled it, no new lemon, no new ice. There was no lemon on my plate for the crab cakes. When I asked for some, the waitress literally brought lemon wedges our with her bare hand. I told her no. You do not bring lemons or anything else our in your bare hands. Additionally, we all know servers need to be attentive. This one was TOO ATTENTIVE! She brought out the dip, came back under 30 seconds to ask how it was, I told her too hot to eat yet. She came back about 1 minute later and asked. I told her good but hot. She came again to ask. 3 times during just the appetizer. Then dinner came, again 30 seconds later, clearly she could see I was fixing my baked potato and had not started eating. I pointed to the crab cakes, and said, these JUST arrived, I haven't started eating yet. I took dessert to go, and since they had crumb cakes I took 2 of those. Didn't know the pruce til I got the bill. Six BUCKS fir 1 crumb cake and they are NOT jumbo pieces. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. It was a long day. Bad day from the get-go, this just made it worse! This was not my intended Dinner location. All the other diners were closing already.

Read moreI have had Many bad experiences at this place! They are VERY,VERY UNSANITARY!! During the serious time of covid,they Always had their masks off,even when they were mandatory! I witnessed a server blowing their nose,NOT washing hands,than touching food,they always put unwrapped straws in carry out drinks with bare, dirty hands. They leave carryout food sitting,opened getting cold,while they wait to get a drink,etc.. Most of the workers are Very Rude,one actually grabbed my arm,and told me Not to stand where I was. I will Never eat there again,and for their many unsanitary violations,I would recommend Everyone to do the same!!
Now I will add to my review,since the owner chose to act like everyone in the restaurant does,lashing out,and actually,messaging and friends requesting me?! As for being a "Doordasher"" I have been in there numerous times and had to wait Almost every time for over ten or more minutes past the pick up time,so needless to say I got to stand and witness Everything going on,I could have said Alot more terrible things! As for ""getting over covid"". It's places like yours that absolutely didn't care! I'm talking about when places first opened and things were still very bad,your place was at the top of the list for being unsanitary and violated all the rules!! I actually started refusing orders from your place! And the food under heat lamps?? They put the food for carryout in the boxes,left them open sitting there for several minutes,getting cold until they got their acts together and finished the orders,Every Single Time!!
