Wegmans — Attraction in Town of Amherst

Went to this Wegmans down on NiagFalls Blvd for a few things from the deli..noticed both scales looked like they haven't been cleaned or wiped down in a week!! Don't understand why they looked so disgusting since they put plastic down on them to set your delivery cuts on..then they procede to put that plastic with your Deli meat into another plastic ziploc bag to give to you..so that grossness from the scales ends up in your bag anyways!! I'm not even sure how long those Deli ladies have been wearing their gloves & touching everything before touching your deli cuts, but I'm gonna guess for friggin hours!! Absolutely disgusting..I'll never go back there again except maybe to check to see if they have actually wiped down those disgusting scales & tell a manager! And again..gloves are a friggin false sense of security! They transmit way more bacteria than washing your damn hands because nobody knows how to use them correctly!! Get rid of the gloves & make everyone wash their hands before & after...

This Wegman’s location is the first location I’ve ever been to. I delivered the self checkout registers here, and am not from town. The store is absolutely well kept. The employees at the receiving dock were very helpful, polite, and efficient. There was a young man in the deli that had superb customer service skills. He had a bit of facial hair, mustache/goatee combo. I commented on his personality, telling him that his good mood and pleasant attitude were very infectious and they rubbed off on me. I was kinda grumpy when I entered the store, but by the end of my experience, I was proud to do all my shopping for the week here. Every department in the store is well kept, and the cashier lady at the self checkout was helpful and had a pleasant attitude as well. We came on 9/29/22(Thursday) and this was honestly one of the best all around experiences I’ve ever had at a grocery store....

I like Wegmans way of magnetizing me to the store. It's always a festive atmosphere to me when I enter the produce end of the store. The huge open produce market is always beautiful and has anything you could want. It's appealing and fresh smelling and set up very well. For the most part the employees are helpful and accommodating. The bakery set where it's right in eyeball view when you walk in. Breads and desserts and so many things of taste and preparation that you have to buy at least one thing. The whole store is fabulously orchestrated from background music to artful decor in every area. The shelves are well stocked at all times and the variety of items from Kosher to international and local items is very satisfying. Even the cart 'securities' are cordial. Prepared foods are delectable. You can go wrong partaking if the Wegmans...
