Babylon Animal Shelter — Attraction in Town of Babylon

Now I KNOW I was being nice on the phone I even asked you how your day was going but this woman was TALKING over me ASSUMING that I needed something that I didn't so I asked her to be quiet and let me explain because I'm handicapped this woman was very DISCRIMINATORY because I'm HANDICAPPED. She was talking over me about something that I did not need I am looking for a low-cost veterinary clinic shelter where I can take these animals that are feral colonies to be spayed neutered and have their vaccinations well this woman was so rude and then she turns around and calls me rude? NO, I GAVE YOU THE VERY WNERGY YOU GAVE ME! This woman had me near to tears, and all I did was ask her to be quiet and let me explain because I'm neurodivergent but APPARENTLY YOU DISCRIMINATE AGAINST PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. I took my cat here when she died. I WILL NO LONGER USE THIS AWFULL Clinic they are TERRIBLE! You WERE IN FACT RUDE to me BECAUSE I AM DISABLED and then when I asked you to please listen, you want to call me rude. Well, you got exactly the energy you gave to me way to go!!! Now you've given me a reason to blow the whistle on your mean attitude on the phone this morning 8am! Ugh your Twisted! Do not use this place if you are disabled they will discriminate against you. It’s ridiculous we were working with this dog and we have a scheduled appointment with one of the worker Dan today for a second meet and greet. We just saw this dog on last Saturday, we got here today and the guy Dan of course is not here and the shelter said the dog is going home on Saturday someone else is adopted. Don’t get me wrong I am glad he’s found a home we been working with this dog for almost a month and last Saturday Dan said there some other person who is interested and all the sudden today it’s a bunch of applications for this dog ? Where is the courtesy to let us know that one you weren’t in today and no one at the shelter knew about this meeting and how about you guys give us a call let us know he found a home. This is very unprofessional, we have a full Time job we took the time to come do the second meet and greet, wasted our time and the worst part we been asking the shelter if he does any tricks he been here for 5 months you claimed he is aggressive to other dog which is not even true, this shelter doesn’t even take the time to know the dogs and we asked him if he does tricks and they don’t know we took a treat out and he was about to do the treat and we asked them how many meal does this rotti get one meal a day . he’s skin and bone and I can see his rib cages you guys are under feeding him I just donated bunch a dog and cat food everytime I go visit this dog there a bunch of food donation why are you guys under feeding the dogs?! Probably one of the worst shelters. My husky ran away as soon as she got off the car. She ended up running to one of our next street neighbors who happened to be very interested and asked us if we wanted to sell the dog because they are known for running away. The time that she ran away she decided to keep the dog without permission and we knew since the beginning she had her but couldn’t blame her without any proofs. We were told by one of our neighbors that the dog was seen there and went to knock on the door she refuse to open the door. She had a ring camera so she was clearly seeing we were looking for the dog because we left her message. The next day she appeared in this “ shelter”, and we went to claim her as the owner provided our information and they refused to give her back. This people made it seem as if we are bad owners just because of the fact that they were told by our neighbors who kept her that she wasn’t well taken care off which isn’t true. They adopted the dog to someone for two weeks and she ended up back in this shelter where the dog is desperate and sad because they couldn’t pick the right person to adopt her yet refuse to give it back to the owners.
