Sam Fashion Nails Inc. — Attraction in Town of Babylon

Haven't been to this salon in quite some time. I needed an emergency fill-in! The previous nail salon I went to; although a very nice lady. She did a terrible job on my gel powder nails. The problem I have with this place is that I am always sent to the older woman, Amy, and she is set in her ways and she does not listen! This nail design is the result of her "compromising" with me 😂 When she started she made the acrylic too thin and she took SEVERAL breaks (eating, counting money, going outside) and when she came back, I told her I wanted it thicker. She said "you should have told me from the beginning, now I have to do it all over again" I'm like "if you would have sat your butt down and not take so many breaks then it would not had dried and you would have been able to add additional acrylic on my nails". I'm usually a patient person and getting my nails done is my time to relax and I had time today.. Not going to make this long... my final thoughts are, I wanted matte and as you see it is glossy. I wanted ombre and got rhinestones! 😂 I think they book a lot of appointments but are understaffed. Not the most hospitable group of people, unless you are a returning customer. I will continue to search for my "Forever" nail...

I was introduced to this place by a friend and before coming here I never got my nails done with acrylic. After coming here the 1st time I knew that I wasnt gonna go anywhere else. You can't beat the quality of the price not to mention the staff is very accommodating as long as you set up an appointment prior to coming, walkin's are welcome but they get kind of busy. I wanted to write a review because they have done my nails for the last 6 months leading all the way up to my wedding, for all my events, Bridal Party & Bacholrette Party and they've been great every single time and I just wanted to thank them for giving me such beautiful nails that I've gotten plenty of compliments on and given recommendations. Today, I came in to have a nail that broke repaired. I had my nails done on Sunday, and today is only Tuesday. While I didn’t mind waiting my turn, I witnessed something troubling. Another customer came in for a lash appointment and waited patiently as well, but the staff treated her with a very unpleasant attitude. After she left, they started making hurtful and disrespectful comments about her, as well as about other women in the salon. I had my phone on a translator and could hear everything being said. I’m honestly disgusted and deeply disappointed by the behavior I witnessed.
