Salpino of N. Babylon — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

This past weekend we had a family christening with about 75 people. I called Salpinos and spoke to Larry. He was extremely accomodating, asked me questions about different things I would never even have thought of. He guided me well as to the amount of food to order. Salpinos was not only able to help with the food, which was absolutely delicious, hot, and very fresh. We ordered chicken parm, penne alla vodka, chichen fingers and french fries for the kids, chicken with mozzarella and roasted pepper hero,as well as another hero, half American, half Italian, and of course all of the salads. The food was outstanding, everyone wanted to know where it came from. Larry was also able to rent us a tent as well as a bounce house(kids loved it) and two wonderful waitresses, Maria was one and I forgot the other girls name, but they were both outstanding. It made the party planning very easy. Laurie was also extremely helpful in assisting me with questions, and scheduling etc. Great team! No doubt about it, all large gathering at our house will be catered by Salpinos in the future as well. Your store and your food get 5 stars. I love your store. I love all your food. But I just bought a pound of sprinkle cookies from a very rude lady at the cash register. This is the second time that I have encountered her. The first time, she gave me the wrong sprinkle cookies (the ones with jelly inside) so I brought them back. She got very annoyed and gave me so much attitude saying that I was the one who ordered the wrong thing. I don't know her name but she is the overweight older lady with bleach blond hair. When I came into the store again today to get some sprinkle cookies and some other things, she remembered me and was very abrupt and rude and rehashed our old encounter blaming me again for ordering the wrong thing last time. ICE COLD CATERED FOOD !!!! Horrible attitude from son in law!!!!!! I paid $300 for hot catered food. The guys bring everything on a little cart and shoves it in my trunk. I didn’t realize my food was ice cold and pasta was hard as a rock until I got home. JUMBO shrimp I thought I was getting turned out to be little medium cocktail shrimp. I was hosting guests and was so embarrassed that I had to re-heat pasta that was so dried out and rubbery!!! The wings were soggy and gross!!! When I spoke to the store the following day, the son in law said he was the owner when I knew he wasn’t and was soooooo nasty and could care less the situation their store put me thru.
