St. Lawrence University — Attraction in Town of Canton

The worst part about St. Lawrence University is that a lot of people will never get to experience it. This school is truly special and fosters a specific mentality of work-hard play-hard. The school is ranked #3 in the country for alumni-callbacks (behind Harvard and Yale) and it is apparent why it is if you go here. People here are extremely extraverted and friendly. The entire school does stuff with each other due to the tight-knit community here. The wet-campus policy allows nightlife to be vibrant and inclusive to all students. Graduated in 2012 and visited recently. My parents attended SLU as well. 40+ years of great people and, within the 7 years since I’ve graduated, the type of student they are apparently looking for, and thus admit, is completely different.
