It’s a beautiful space. However their gift wrapping skills leave much to be desired. I also wish there was more thought diversity in the book selections. Everything seems very left or far left and universities are supposed to foster dialogue. I personally like to read a full spectrum of books by authors with differing views.

Brewer Bookstore is a wonderful experience! I highly recommend for gifts and all things SLU and North Country. The buyers do a great job providing a large inventory of unique and locally made gifts.

Great for a university bookstore. The first floor is just like a typical bookstore with a cafe, books, and gifts. The second floor has school supplies, art supplies, and all the SLU apparel and merchandise. There are also couches and chairs on both floors which are great places to get some work done after grabbing a coffee from the cafe! The adult staff are friendly and helpful! (They hire SLU students which are usually nice too, but they switch so often that it is hard to review them as staff). A bit pricey, but what campus bookstore...

Such a cozy and welcoming little book store! We always find something to buy here. There is a wonderful selection of books and many other great items such as their Vera collection of purses. I'm always browsing the books then buying coffee at the sit down cafe. Another thing that I love about this store is the cozy roaring fireplace! You have to visit here if you happen to be...

St. Lawrence University (SLU) is one of the best liberal arts universities in the nation. It may be in the middle of nowhere, Canton, but there are a wide range of activities and organizations to take part in. Being a D1 hockey school, games are intense (especially against their rival school Clarkson University). With all that being said... Here...
