To start off, been here before pre pandemic to see the production of Les Miserables. And we were able to take a tour of the place. it is a gorgeous small venue. There is even a room upstairs in which has another small stage there too. and one can exit around there too. huge parking lot too. They also have dinner and a show where i think they use that room upstairs for. Went here on Thursday March 21 2024 for the Yellow Brick Joel Concert. Went with my parents. We were on Billy's side in the 6th row from the front. Not bad pricing for it either as it is $55.00 per person. I enjoyed the show. i enjoyed hearing hits like "We Didn't Start The Fire", and "Can You Feel The Love Tonight". It's probably more the band, but applaud them for being modernish because anyone born after 1994 may say the Elton John's greatest hit is Circle of Life or Can You Feel The Love Tonight, because it's from a movie that we loved in our childhood. enjoyed hearing other songs too, like "Rocketman", "My Life", "Piano Man", "You May Be Right", "Movin' Out (anthony's song)", "Your Song", "Philadelphia Freedom", and many others. sound was good throughout the whole performance, and it was easy entering and exiting the building. Maybe hope to see another show. Although suggestion: something modern: A Taylor Swift impersonator, Britany Spears, A Boy band tribute (2000's: NSYNC BSB, new kids on the block, Jonas Brothers maybe) Music is music, but i think it is important to try to appeal to the younger...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences I’ve had at a venue. The band was great! My family and I were celebrating my 50th birthday. We were respectful and went to the aisle to enjoy the music. The staff then told us if we wanted to stand we either needed to clear the aisle or go back to our seats. We went back to our paid seats to enjoy the entertainment. Then the people behind us began to yell to us to sit down even though the staff told us to stand there. Then the staff approached us again and told us to sit down or we needed to go to the back of the venue or leave. This is absurd due to the fact that I’ve never heard that it is required that people sit during a music concert. Our group was asked to leave the venue because we wanted to stand and enjoy the music. During this concert the band even intervened and encouraged the involvement of our participation in the concert. This is so disheartening when our family was looking forward to this event but we were forced out due to staff. The staff was very contradictory in their approach to our experience. I wouldn’t recommend this venue if you are looking to stand/enjoy a...
Read moreWent on December 21, 2023, to a concert to see the band, XII XXIV, not knowing what was going to be in-store. It was a concert which was a tribute to the group, Trans Siberian and their holiday music, which is always an epicurean delight. Well, let me tell you, this concert took the chill out of the first day of winter and filled all with the warmth of holiday cheer!! The vocals and violins rang out loud and clear as the guitars and bass wailed without fear. And the lively keyboards rounded out the melodious Christmas tapestry of joyful sounds painting a magical moment from the rafters to the ground! If you missed it, you missed a musical greeting card, which celebrated Christmas with not just music but with lights, visual arts, and making all feel they were an intrical part of such a wonderful experience! If you missed it, you'll have to wait until next year but never fear, it will be well worth the wait! Oh, by the way, the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center was great! Intetment yet not too small, made a venue where a good time...
