First, this is not my local spectrum store. Mine is much better.

My mother and I were returning her cable box. She now streams Spectrum TV.
We signed in and waited. Many didnt sign in, though verbally greeted and asked to sign in.
We were called, and I mentioned the place seemed understaffed. Two were working. I was told Sundays had just one person on. I said that sales could be lost. She said she would lose sales if staffing was increased. I then wondered if they were partially paid by commission. Why would she lose sales, particularly when some people left.
I know all customers aren't buying and need service assistance. Its a luck of the draw who to take care of, particularly when using a sign in station.
This experience wasn't what should be expected. I once was a senior manager of a retail store for a large corporation, with a small footprint, so I understand scheduling, but this is Spectrum, a large store footprint for a large corporation serving the city.

I brought my WiFi box back in the package it came in because I thought it would he convenient for them. He proceeds to say we don’t take your garbage here. Referring to the boxes the WiFi was in. He said look around do you see a garbage anywhere that’s bc we don’t take garbage from our customers. When we walked in we were not greeted we stood in front of his area waiting still weren’t greeted for another 5 minutes….. mind you we were the only ones in there….. I explained to him the problem with my phone…. He looked at it for a couple minutes and said there was nothing he could do because he didn’t know….
