Ethan Allen — Attraction in Town of De Witt

I am very happy with my new Hyde sofa that Caroline designed with me! Caroline identified my needs and pointed out what to consider very quickly. She recognized some of my special pieces in the living room that needed to be enhanced and found a new sofa shape and fabric….making the room more fun and exciting for me. She is a delight to work with and a great asset for Ethan Allen. I highly recommend Caroline Sussman for any decorating idea or home decor purchase. Also, I didn’t expect her to be here for the delivery but I was very appreciative that she took the time to make sure everything was perfect and that I was satisfied.

Also, Ryan and Raphael were very competent and respectful. They alerted me ahead of their arrival and were very careful delivering the pieces into my home. They spent time arranging the floor pad and were not in a rush to run out. I was very happy with their effort and customer service.

I visited the showroom a few months ago and left with an idea of the leather sofa that I wanted. I knew I had to get my husband there to test out the comfort level and seat height. This showroom has the perfect set up with one sofa showing different cushion/seat support. He didn’t have to walk around the showroom to figure that out! I could also review the different leathers and choose nailheads and finishes easily. Both women in the showroom were knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. It's been a real pleasure working with Caroline! I appreciate the time she took to bring samples I had picked out at the showroom, bringing them to my home so I could check out how they looked with the furniture pieces already in the room, along with taking measurements. Working with an interior designer can feel intimidating, but Caroline made me feel totally at ease. She understands that people have sentimental items that need to stay in a room, even if they are not "Pinterest worthy" and she helped me pick put the fabric for our new sofa to pull the room together, and it looks fabulous! After months of looking for furniture without success, I decided to try the new Ethan Allen location in DeWitt. Within the first five minutes, I was greeted by lead designer Caroline. I explained I was frustrated with my search. Caroline was extremely patient and very knowledgable. Through our conversations, Caroline really took the time to know my desired style, my 1860 era home, and my day-to-day lifestyle which helped customize my furniture.
