This was maybe the worst hotel Ive ever stayed at and I dont travel much. If all you need is a clean room, hot water and a bed they have you covered, no problem. I personally feel that when you stay at a hotel you are guaranteed a couple of things, their fresh coffee is not fresh, and it is not in the room you have to walk down to the front desk to get it and its from an instant machine, not a fresh brewer. Me and a friend stayed 2 nights, they never came and cleaned our room which means we never got fresh towels and there was only 2 towels to begin with, not even any wash cloths were provided. I went down to the front desk twice and no one was there. That also meant that we filled up our tiny garbage can in 1 night. The water pressure for the toilet was so low that you had to flush twice just to get a piece of TP down the drain so forget about taking a number 2 there, you'll have to flush 3 or more times to get it down. The room we stayed in, you could tell was newly redone, but redone in a way that it was covering up the underlining problems of the room. It was extremely humid in the room even with the AC cranked, I have to believe there was some kind of major water damage problem. Also this room is an OCD persons nightmare, everything was awkward and out of place, the door knobs were on the opposite sides, the tv was on the side of the beds not in front. And the refrigerator was so damaged you couldn't put anything on the sides because they were all busted. I would expect this kind of room for a $60 a night room but this was $100+ a night so I feel like I was at least owed fresh towels. I do feel bad tho leaving this review because the only workers I saw were very young Asian women and they looked very tired. So I guess this room would be fine for a trucker that just needed a bed and a hot shower but if you actually need to live out of this room for a few days I would...

Read moreMy family ended up at the Eco Lodge in July while driving over 1,000 miles to a wedding in Canada. We hadn't looked into accommodations ahead of time, just pulled into the first decent-looking motel off the highway. Big mistake. We rented two adjacent rooms. The place looked a lot rougher on the inside than it had on the outside, but it was late and we were tired. I took a bath and started draining the tub. Suddenly, water began shooting out of a metal plate on the floor. As the bathroom flooded, I tried to open the door to find that it was stuck. I had to yell for my daughter to force the door open from the other side. At the same time, water also began pouring into the second room's bathroom. We were told by management that there was probably a blockage in the pipes, and we were moved to another set of rooms. When we finally got all our stuff relocated, we discovered that neither of the room TVs were functional, the walls and doors were water-stained, one comforter had cigarette burns- it was a non-smoking room- and the other had patches that looked like dried glue all over it. In the morning, while eating a very sad continental breakfast (stale cereal, orange juice, and one kind of muffin,) we told the manager on duty all about the terrible experience. He literally rolled his eyes and asked, "What do you want me to do about it?" When pressed, he said that they would not consider giving us a price break on the room until their maintenance man had checked it out. He would "maybe be in sometime in the afternoon." Needless to say, we didn't end up sticking around. This place is the pits. Don't give them...
