Good vibe, smoothly run, but bad for gluten free people in my opinion. I’m gluten free and sensitive. When I ordered, I told her I was gluten-free. She asked if it was an allergy or a choice, I told her it was an allergy. She made sure that her gloves were changed. She washed her hands before changing gloves. Then, I got concerned. They write the orders on a piece of parchment paper, which they put your pizza on if you order a normal pizza. They have a black mat if you have a gluten-free pizza or it seems like one other thing had a black mat. She put it on the mat, but the piece of parchment was placed on a counter where there was random pieces of flour. I thought they might wipe that down, but they didn’t. She then used one hand to put flour onto another pizza and then said she was down to one hand, and stopped using that hand. However, I asked for vegan cheese and the first thing she put on after the sauce was cheese. I told her and then she started the process over again. Got the gluten-free crust, put it on the black mat, and put on vegan cheese after the red sauce. However, when she put on the cheese, she patted it down with both of her hands. Keep in mind that one of her hands touched the flour. I was concerned. They kept it on the black mat when they put it into the wood oven. The person that was taking the pizzas out of the oven did not change her gloves. Overall, I didn’t feel super great about the gluten-free-ness of it. My stomach was mostly fine but idk about people that have severe celiacs. The pizza itself was fine. I wouldn’t go back again. If I didn’t have any gluten...
Read moreOverall a good experience. Aysia and Sylone were awesome greeting us and preparing our pizzas and salad! They were super helpful and friendly. They really showed how happy they are to please their customers. The young man baking the pizzas was also acting as a great ambassador of Blaze. Those three shined beyond their great personalities. Unfortunately what would have been a 5 star plus experience was ruined by the messy dining room, drink area and disgusting men's room. No excuse for this at all. There was more than enough staff to take care of these things. We saw what appeared to be the manager in charge leave before making sure the restaurant was presentable. Absolutely a clear neglect for cleanliness. Most all tables were not wiped down and floor needed to be swept and mopped. One customer took it upon herself to take antiseptic wipes to clean her own table. The beverage area was littered with straw wrappers and spilled beverages. The restroom didn't look like it had been cleaned the entire day. This made me wonder what the prep kitchen area must look like. The two pizzas and entrée salad we ordered were excellent but it may be awhile before we return. Visit on Sunday...
Read moreTwo stars sounds harsh. It's not that the food was "bad", it's mostly that you're paying a high price for food that could be so much better. The toppings on the pizza were excellent, but the CRUST was a miserable failure. It was approximately the consistency and thickness of soggy cardboard. How about a decent crust with some rigidity and texture and crunch to it? Or how about a crisp (not soggy) thin crust option? But to put those yummy toppings and flavors on top of that sorry squishy crust is a travesty. The garlic bread was good, but the cheese and garlic and what-not only covered about 2/3 of the top of the bread, meaning that about 1/3 of the bread around the edges was just plain crust. That's not what I paid for! And almost FIVE DOLLARS for ONE 20-oz bottle of soda? And the only soda they offered was Diet Coke? Oh my heavens. C'mon guys!! Also, I asked for two cups of some of the sauces and got only single cups of them. Not cool. Blaze Pizza...not altogether bad, in fact there was much good about it. But they undermine their own success with some really dumb choices as...
