Watkins Glen Beach on Lake Seneca — Attraction in Town of Dix

Cute park, nice play ground, simple splash pad, small pavilion, warm outdoor showers, small sand beach with lifeguard. The swimming area is very shallow, even at its deepest. Which is really nice with little kids, but not really a place for adults/bigger kids to swim.

This lake is beautiful! They're revitalizing the beach front and you'll LOVE it! Not too crowded and there's plenty of places to access the water. They also have a Dogs only beach access which is pretty cool. We have our water shoes on and had no issue with rocks etc. So I recommend having a pair. There was some litter in the water at the bottom of the lake but we cleaned it up properly so please if you see something in there, throw it away and let's keep our...

Nice calm place , spot for holiday picnic , have lots of space and huge lake !! Was visiting Watkins glen park and stopped by afterwards! Another reason to thank nature !!
