Very unqualified personal to provide service. Refused to balance/rotate expensive tires bought there not long ago. Car just passed NYS inspection after Walmart declined and the licensed inspector said the tires look almost new and there is nothing wrong with them. Luckily I knew that. Wonder how many millions dont? Dishonest ploy to force sales. Declined service I paid for. I am a mechanic! One star for price which was competitive at best. I will happily pay more elsewhere. You will pay MUCH more in the long run at Walmart and that is thier MO. The wise definetly know this and definetly look beyond. Was able to get 4 tires bought and installed with short notice. Called the Ithaca store and stopped there to see about tires and nobody was interested enough to help or even ask questions. I called the Watkins Glen store and had all my questions answered and arrangement at what time would be the best time to come. Was there from Ithaca in 40 mins and waited only a short time before the truck was being worked on. The service team at register and garage where kind and very pleasant to deal with. Set up appointment to install 2 snow tires at watkins glen walmart. Was never told that they wouldn't put snow tires on the front unless a 4 tire change was done.no one explained why. Only was told its company policy. When we cashed out, the assistant manager explained why they wouldn't install the tires on the front. Kudos to the assistant manager!!
