We bought clams, tuna, fresh oysters, a baguette and shrimp salad yesterday. We drove around the corner and sat by the water and ate the yummy oysters right away. Eveything was so good and fresh. We came back today to get more clams, some steak, tuna salad, and clam chowder. The people there are friendly and helpful, especially Bernadette. The items are a bit pricey but that's how fresh and delicious sells for. My only tiny suggestion is that they mark the entrance clearly. We parked by the Dock Bar and Restaurant and walked around. If not for the worker/delivery man pointing out the entrance to us, we would've left thinking they were closed. Maybe it is clearer during peak season when it is packed and super busy. I think there were two other cars who left becauze they thought they were closed. Also I hope the receipt they give out is itemized -- we went home wondering trying to remember how much a pound of the clams was and we just kept guessing because the recipt only had the total of all items. Those are my only tiny suggestions to make the shopping experience better, but this market is already a gem and definitely worth a visit...

The prepared food tastes old and off...Tried some soup from the fridge, literally no flavor and they sell food past expiration date Prices are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Our fish was literally stinky! had to return it. Not to mention , staff is always stuffing their faces in the kitchen and at the cashier, not a good look. From here went to Petersons in town for fresh fish right off their boats. Definitely will go there first next time. None of the staff can hide the fact they hold great disdain for their customers. A supremely...
Read moreJust visited this market and was met by the rudest cashier. My friend asked a question about the heat of the peppers in a bin close to the register and she was irritated because there was a sign attached to the bin . When he asked her to clarify she huffed and puffed like a magic dragon. The store was not crowded as we were the only people on line and we were paying 80.00 for a pound of crab meat. Yes for only 1 pound. I am guessing she may have been the owner that she thinks she can get away with treating customers like that when she is in retail position. If you don't like your job find a new one. Place is over priced and...
