I’ll be the first one to make this review for all my people and their little kids to teens kids who gets bullied at this aqua park. I have been going here for few years now. I go 2 times a year and every time I go, these 13-17 to even adults who bully my kids and other kids. Kids getting thrown off and pushed off high cliff by these bullies and these bullies thinks it’s funny and they laugh about it. When I approach the manager about it these kids, they are not getting kicked out, they get a warning and get told to go play on the other side. It NEVER solves the problem because these bullies enjoy laughing at kids when they push off the high cliff. Once the bullies realize the workers are not looking they go and start doing the same thing again. Every encounter my kids have with the bully teen kids, I tell them to stop and the teens would say to me, they are teens and we can’t do anything about it because they’re under age. THE BULLIES SAYING WE ARE ADULTS AND IF AN ADULTS PUT THERE HANDS ON THEM THEY WILL CALL THE COPS. They use it as a threat to parents who are protecting their kids. These bullies knows what they are doing is wrong and they know they will get away with it. The workers are not doing a good job at solving the problem. TO THE PARENTS, Your kids won’t come tell because they wanna have fun. I been told but many kids they been bullied at this park and they chose to not say anything and they stay away from these bullies if they can. These bullies will find their ways to hurt you kids and say it was an accident. An accident sounds very believable when playing in the water but it’s a lie and excuse to make it sound like it was an accident. Do not believe these bullies. They’re cussing your kids out in the water. They know how to shake and work these things to make your kids fall off. I will no longer go to this park because it’s not safe for my kids or anyone kids. But if you take your little kids please watch them and ask them if your kids is being a bully. I’m a mom and I swim with my kids and I know what’s going on when all the kids are jumping in the water. To the owner, you need to step up before these kids mess with the wrong people and things get worse. There are parents who are protective of their kids. All the encounters I reported to you, nothing was solved....
Read moreI have been to Fondy Aqua park several times over the course of the last 5 years and felt that I had to bring to light some very concerning things that I saw while on my visit there today. I will say my kids love the inflatables and have fun when we are there but as an adult looking on at the whole operation I am not sure how they are still in business. We arrived close to opening and the kids went out and started to play. As I was looking out at the water, the zip line, and the slides I realized there was not a single lifeguard or water attendant present. A while later one of the workers was on the dock feeding the fish and I asked if they had lifeguards. He responded “well yeah we do, well actually we don’t have lifeguards we have water attendants” I responded with “oh ok so just not today” he said “well in a while we will have some out but I am monitoring the water with my binoculars from the desk”. So basically he was the only one there, checking people in, “monitoring the water” but was really just feeding the fish. About an hour later (which was after they had already been open for 2 hours) a water monitor came out to sit at the end of the dock, at one point she was nodding off. After further discussion with management they were extremely understaffed so they didn’t have the proper staff to safely open but did anyway. Further more their staff is told to “do their best” in the event of an emergency but don’t actually have any life saving training. Huge red flags in my opinion if you know boy are understaffed and decide to open anyway. Many pools and water facilities close these last few weeks of summer when they lose staff for this very reason. There are no signs posted anywhere alerting people that there are no lifeguards on duty (or on property for that matter) so I feel this is important for the public to know. Further more if you have any sort of bee allergy I strongly recommend you stay away from this place! They have. A MAJOR bee problem and are doing NOTHING about it. You cannot even sit down and enjoy yourself without being swarmed by bees! For $45 a person this facility is majorly under-kept and I definitely will not be revisiting. There are many other inflatable parks that are significantly cheaper and run much...
Read moreI took 5 kids ranging from 8-17. It was expensive for me, 210$... but no more than a day at most waterparks would be. Heck, going to see a 2 hr movie is pretty cost prohibitive anymore. I honestly found it more fun than the waterpark (and a far better value than a movie), because there are no lines and you're more actively engaged as you play. Besides a break for lunch, we played all day. I checked out several options for this type of day trip... and appreciated the full day access available here. Other places give you a 50 mine time slot for the same price, which is outrageous. Also, rather than bringing everyone back to the car for lunch, we were able to bring in a full size cooler. This saved me time and money. I felt the water was pretty clean/clear, none of us stank on the car ride home or got any kind of rash/illness from the water. It was pretty busy, but I didn't feel it was overcrowded. The beach area was clean, bathrooms were pretty clean, environment was chill (no annoying lifeguard whistles!). The only annoyance was a few rowdy teenagers being disrepectful and aggressive. Since family and friends are going to engage in some fun and mutual rough housing, it's probably difficult to isolate when the rough housing is unwanted from strangers... but that might be something to try to develop some policies around. Otherwise, I'd say speak up yourself or report if you see that kind of stuff happening...I'm sure management would want to addresss that kind of problem. Great time enjoyed by everyone in the group. Would be fun to do again once...
