Gates Memorial Park — Attraction in Town of Gates

Unlike the park in which it's connected, Lions Park, this one is much more vast... Huge fields, walk path through out, baseball diamonds, soccer, tons of space to let your dogs run or take a leisurely stroll, playground, private event shelter... Pretty well kept... Tons of off the grid back wood paths to explore, but be careful, they don't all lead you anywhere special... You could get stuck and either turn back, or create your own way back to...

Always a beautiful walk in the park in our little town. I have had a few troubles medically and haven't been able to walk up to the park since last year. I really do wish the town would take some time and find a way to clean out the pond though. It looks very unhealthy and lots of garbage in it. Besides that we as always walked the trails in the woods and picked up some trash along our way. Please keep our little town clean. We do love...

Had a fun quickly walking through the area. Plenty to do! Now as far as the hidden pond area; because, I thought there was something off on the GPS! lol! I would stay away from that area since there is no proper walkway path there. Without knowing any idea of there like wildlife or if there is any poison ivy. Will there be a future Eagle Scout or community organization project to do something in the near future - I think only time...
