My mother, grandmother, and I are well endowed women who have limited options for places which we can purchase undergarments and more specifically bras. I myself have had several fitting at the store. The attention and care that I have received in the past was not the same as the attention and care which I was given today. My mother and I made appointments for both of us to be fitted which, again, had previously been a positive experience. As we walked to the fitting rooms my mother stated that due to finances we would likely only be purchasing one bra for me that day. Because of this the store owner did not offer my mother a fitting room in spite of the appointment being for both fittings. There was an exchange in which my mom insisted on being fitted. My mother is neurologically handicapped due to her medical history and is easily confused and frustrated. It is understandable that this might have agitated the owner and I believe that it did because the fitting after this interaction for especially my mother but also me seemed more or less cold, robotic, and rushed, which was a far cry from the way which I remember being treated during previous visits. I am under the assumption that because the owner believed that we would be unable to make a larger purchase, our time and patronage was less important and not prioritized in spite of the appointment which we had made. When other individuals (who may or may not have had appointments) entered the store I was left in the fitting room with no inquiry as to weather I cared for the style or fit of the bra. When I exited the fitting room and expressed interest in purchasing another bra I was met with a little more warmth but when I was trying to get the attention of the owner to inquire about a third bra I found it difficult to do so. I feel as though the service which I received today, in its extreme variation to what I have experienced in the past, was at least partially due to economic discrimination. Even if my mother may have not been able to spend a significant amount of money today that does not mean that we would not have potentially made larger future purchases given that we are RETURNING customers. Personally after my ,frankly, hurtful and even somewhat belittling experience today I am unsure if I will continue to be a...
Read moreThe owner is a stellar shopkeeper. Last week she fit a hard-to-fit family member into a well fitting bra and one piece swimsuit (which was needed for a summer camp counselor job for my family member who is a different size on top than on the bottom so has not been able to wear a one-piece) in record time with attractive items that were actually in stock! She ordered another suit that looked different but was of the same structure as the first suit, so is guaranteed to fit. She estimated my family member's measurements based on those taken before the pandemic (the last time we were in); showed us items from the floor that might work; measured my family member; and in less than one minute, had items in hand to try on. Today, family member had surgery and was told they needed to wear supportive foundation garments 24/7 for a few days; but we had nothing approproate at home that wouldn't hurt (and my family member was in serious pain). I called the store from the pharmacy on our way home from the hospital and explained the situation. The owner was immediately able to offer a solution she had in stock (in a choice of colors!). I was able to pay over the phone, and when I drove up to the sidewalk, she even came out to the car with the item in a bag so I didn't have to leave my family member alone in the car. The item fit as described, and my family member was able to get comfortable as a result of wearing the item. Some of the items sold may look pricey compared to Target; but if you are hard-to-fit, wear a size that's hard to find, or never have been fitted properly, the customer service you will get at this store makes it well worth the price. Read moreIf I could give this place a million stars, I absolutely would. Holy. Actual. Moly!!!
This was amazing for a plus size woman like myself, highly recommended!
Today was the dreaded bra shopping day. My first place was Lane Bryant, absolutely nothing for me. So I Google searched some other places that might be good for plus size women. I found Her UnderThings and thought, why not give it a try!
And wow!! I am not disappointed AT all. I was I was greeted immediately and asked what I was looking for! I said "hi! I'm looking for a new bra, I'd like a full coverage and some push up!" The lady was happy to help and we went into the dressing room.
I'm someone who is pretty insecure with my body, especially my chest area. The woman fitted me and didn't make me feel uncomfortable for a single second! She was kind and non-judgmental.
I was meassured and off she went! What felt like 2 seconds (lol!) Later she was back, helped me into my bra and immediately I was SO happy!!
My current bra was apparently the incorrect size and not suited for my breast type. It was also EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The bras she found immediately fit extremely well and flattered me SO much better than my current bra!
I will never go to another big corporation bra store again! Customer for life was gained!
Not only was she Extremely helpful but kind, friendly and overall just a very great vibe. The shop was really cute, clean and put together!
Seriously, 10/10! I was in and out of the store in like, 20...
