Every time I finish a class at Concept Fitness, I already can’t wait to come back. I have been training and competing for over a decade, I travel a lot for work and have been to so many gyms, but Concept Fitness will always be my home base. The commitment level of the owners is unmatched. Every single class is a work of art. So much planning goes into each workout, warmup and overall week of training. The coaches have so much talent and experience, they are able to facilitate a safe, tailored workout for athletes of all ages and skill levels. You can show up just to stay in shape or you can show up with a sport or lifestyle specific goal and these coaches will get you there. ln and out of the gym they are dedicated. I had several qualifiers that were overwhelming to me. Rob and Lizzy helped me to prepare and succeed every time. They run classes so well, all you have to do is show up and before you know it you’ve not only had an amazing workout but learned something along the way. The equipment is professionally maintained and always clean. The facility is also on the water and the views are beautiful. If the workout doesn’t motivate you, a sunrise or sunset on the water might. Lastly, the members are like family. In our specific case I truly credit the coaching, guidance and encouragement from Lizzy and Rob for making a D1 athletic scholarship a reality for my daughter. They not only molded her into a rower , they helped with the process and put her on the path. I cannot express how impressed I am with Lizzy, Rob and Concept. It is the hardest workout you will ever love! Another bonus is the view! You are on the water. And just in case you go too hard there is a doctor who has space in the facility. From day one, I felt welcomed and challenged in the best way possible. The workouts are intense, smart, and constantly push me to new limits—physically and mentally.
Coach Lizzy has been a game-changer. She’s not just there to cheer you on (though she’s great at that too); she takes the time to teach proper form and technique, which has made a huge difference in both my performance and confidence. She genuinely wants to see you succeed and makes sure you have the tools and knowledge to get there.
