Milburn Pond Park — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

Nice little park on the borderline between Baldwin and Freeport. Not a large park but definitely has area with grass yes and benches. On the other side of park which was done over in the last 5 years is where boats can be dropped into the water. As stated earlier this section of park was redone recently. This side is pretty much only concrete and a big parking lot. They're is a gazebo, bathroom and more seating. Better views of the water from this side. Nice small...

Fishing was poor, lots of sunfish in here amongst the trash and other debris. Ducks were friendly , great view of Coral House. I wont be going to this pond for the fishing due to the snagging on the weeds and other debris in here.

For other fishers, You can get the sunfish just by dropping your line at the edge of the water, casting out you'll get snagged on the weeds and...

It's beautiful there 😍...you could bring your small boat there. Go fishing...some people do it (but in the creek though 🤢🤮) Alot of parking space if you just want to relax in your car. BBQ if you like, on the left side where the benches are, they have a few grills already there. The ducks and/or swans floating by are sooo...
