We arrived early as per the information provided when registering; however, the class started late due to others arriving late. The music was really loud and we couldn't hear the instructor who was also going far to fast with her demonstration. 2 other employees stood at the front carrying on their own conversation despite that one of them was introduced as an assistant. We constantly ran out of paint and had to keep getting up to beg for more. Not one person (about 18 people total) had a final product that looked remotely close to what the original art was supposed to look like (even the instructor's was an interpretation of the original piece). The group of 3 sitting across from us ended up painting their own thing because this experience was such a train wreck. At the end, we were all rushed out and not made to feel welcome to join another class in the future. This is a complete cash grab by the owner and not at all the same type of fun and welcoming experience that is available at other comparable locations. The night prior to my experience at this location, I was at Wine & Design and the experience was extraordinarily superior (for the same price) with amazing results. This visit was supposed to an experience to treat my mom to for Mother's Day and what an enormous disappointment. We considered leaving part way through but decided to stay to give this a complete and fair shot. Lesson learned... For anyone reading this...save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere or just venture to the local dollar store for supplies and watch a Bob Ross...

We drove an hour to find out we were the only ones painting. It would have been nice if the owner contacted us to tell us that so we can either choose to go, cancel or reschedule. I could have painted at home with my Husband if that was the case and saved $80 and 4 hours! It was a blacklight party, but only about 20 minutes of the 2 hours was blacklight. It was actually pretty lame. She used lights that were probably bought at a yard sale that she put on an essel. The music was so wack I was bored and yawning. She didn't give us enough paint nor napkins that I was wiping the excess paint on the table cloth and smock. Also, there was no notification stating that there are TWO studios, one in the back and one in the front. We were standing outside in the back for 20 minutes until someone else told us so. I would not go back, even if...
ย ย ย Read moreWe celebrated my Aunt's 75th birthday at Painting with a Twist and had an amazing time! Joanne (owner) was extremly helpful and commuicative to help with all the details of a surprise party that included children ages 5,6,11 and 15 and a mix of adults and seniors, all of whom had a blast! She helped us with the surprise aspect greatly and was even involved when the guest of honor walked in and we were all hiding in the back. The night was so much fun and tuly was beyod my expectations! Shout out to the artist who was patient with our mixed age group and our witty personalities! Also, the pizzas Joanne suggested were delicious (and we are a group of FOODIES!) I would definitly recommend having an event here and would have another...
