Chung Shing Chinese Take-Out — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

We just moved into the area. We had our meal delivered. My first experience was a great one! Thumbs up! Great customer service and very efficient. Pricing is typical/average. I was given a 40 minute time of delivery and our food arrived really fast, within 20 minutes, very hot and steamy! The delivery personnel was kind and greeted me kindly. The food we ordered was fantastic; typical tasty, spot-hitting, fast-food Asian cuisine. Wanting to try a few items just to taste the variety offered at this location, we ordered: Fried Shrimp, 3 different types of eggrolls, Chicken Chow Fun, General Tso's Chicken, and Shrimp Fried Rice... everything was delicious as we had hoped. We'll miss our usual take-out in Brooklyn, but this will become our new take-out spot. We have decided that we would definitely order from this restaurant again.

I guess with some other patrons that had a bad experience, it's plausible and you can't discount their experiences, as I've had horrible experiences similar at different restaurants. It can definitely be a hit or miss. Our experience was great... in our case, a hit, and I'd recommend...

Terrible food, service, and prices. Ate there twice, just to give them another chance, and same story. For lunch special, they don't even offer a soup, eggroll or drink. For dinner they forgot my rice! That's like the staple of Chinese food! The taste is very bland and the meat portions regardless of dish are very small compared to others. The front desk is run by a kid who's only there because he knows English, not for his service skills.

You're better off going to Atlantic Ave, or Grand Ave to the other Chinese spots in...

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The delivery driver was very disrespectful and when I asked for my change back he tried to snatch the food out my hand because I wasn’t going to tip him. After I wouldn’t let go he threw my change in the bag and walked out.

Then I called the restaurant because they didn’t give the right order and they were disrespectful and said no refund or exchange and they didn’t care if I didn’t come back.

The whole time I was very cordial and they were horrible. I will never give...
