Great location for a car show first time there. Plenty of parking. A lot of gorgeous cars , hot rods, rat rods, custom muscle cars ,Lincoln’s, Cadillacs I won 2’nd price for my 1978 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz triple white was a pleasure to show and show my car a lot of people appreciated it . I saw Strasky and Hutchins Red Ford Torino very nice, I even saw the Batmobile so cool, and Yes even Back to the Future DeLorean. There was plenty of vendors there bathrooms was just a great day beautiful weather great place to take the family. I highly recommend if you have never been there to go and see it next year again when they do it. Oh I forgot The Dukes of Hazard orange Dodge charger so cool Plenty of Vendors food , beverages, and good ole...

Pretty nice beach ⛱️, clean, not alot of people in September. Bathrooms 🚽 and showers are the cleanest I've ever seen at a beach. The 9-11 memorial is nicely done 👍, although I'm not sure it does anything useful for the victims and families other than remind them about our unwillingness to bring anyone to justice, especially when we do eagerly go after our own citizens for crimes nowhere near as horrific. Anytime a Government is more worried about diplomatic relations over American citizens, that's a problem..... unless said government knew about it to begin with.......which then makes it even more shocking. Other than that it's a really nice place with mega parking spots and calm...

Typical Long Island south shore beach. I did not visit for swimming, sun bathing, or other summer beach pursuits. I visited for surf fishing mid-spring when water and air temps are still a bit cold. There are a series of stone jetties creating mild coves between. The east end fronts Jones Inlet (Danger! No Swimming) where fish can be found. If you're fishing be sure to have your NYS Marine Fishing Permit as the area is patrolled be TOH Bay Constables. The beach is fairly cleas and there was mechanical raking taking place in preparation for the summer season presumably. No parking fee pre-season. Unknown...

As a Town of Hempstead resident, this is the best twelve dollars I have spent in 2025. No frills, but plenty of parking and restrooms were clean. Life guards present. Bring you own food and drink. Enjoy
