2nd time I had a problem with this place!!! The security guard that was working today at 2:25 pm, was disgustingly rude . I was whispering on the phone to tell my fiancé I have to go , he comes charging at me screaming get off the phone now !!! I said please do not talk to me like that. To make matters worse he's like get out "NOW" . I never in my life have been treated worse by an employee. I was polite and got off the phone , he kept fighting with me because I had to tell him (keep in mind he's also older than me ) that there is a way you talk to people , with respect. I will never go back there and I will be making a complain . (Previous complaint) I want to say I do like this library , it's big with a large selection and good hours , I really would like to give it five stars , but today I went in with my emotional small service dog , the guy let me in with no problem at the front desk after I told him it's my service animal . Then I over hear this blonde women with blue eyes who works there (probably the manger ) talking to another employee about my dog and questioning as to why it would be in here . She comes up to me very nasty asking about my dog , pretty much questioning me as if my dog is really a support animal and makes me show the letter . She then goes to say that service animals and emotional animals are two different things and they can't be brought in . Which is complete inaccurate . I told her that I even researched it before I came here . Also she went to say that my dog did not have a vest. You do NOT need a vest legally, unless you want to pay the $150 for it . She had the nerve to come up to me with another staff member as If I committed a crime ! And then questioned me and got nasty with me when I told her the laws regarding support animals . I highly suggest that the staff here (especially this women who I am assuming was the manger ) take a special class or the time to do some research regarding emotional support animals and the laws regarding them within public places . It was quite embarrassing to make it a huge deal publicly and I believe that everyone should take the time to be educated when it comes to these things , so this does not...
Read moreThe employees don't want to help at all! The place Is a DUMP. I came here to make photo copies to study for an exam and no one wanted to help me with the copying machine. I asked two women who were sitting at the desk with their arms crossed pissed off i was there since they were closing in 10 minutes. I asked them did you turn off the machine because I can't get it to work. This really old woman with grey hair had such an attitude and just pressed a button and walked away....as soon as the clock hit 5 o'clock two employees bombarded me like I was stealing Something and said WE'RE CLOSED YOU HAVE TO LEAVE YOU HAVE TO LEAVE!!! I said I just have two more copies to make .. I have a big test and they said nope weve been open for 9 hours already. What kind of response is that. It's so rude . If the old woman would've DONE HERJOB and actually assisted me instead of having an attitude and walking away I wouldn't have wasted 5 minutes on actually trying to figure out how to use the machine since it has so many settings . I guess she's unhappy since she works at a library and is miserable!!! As for the Hispanic "security guard" in a suit get a new...
Read moreIf I could give this a 0 star I would! The Hispanic lady in the front desk is just plain rude! My boyfriend has always taken out books at this library for as long as he can remember. He sometimes misplaces his card but only a few of the nice librarians look him up and see that he is enrolled! Not today! This lady gave him a huge attitude over his card and when he asked for a new one she says nope... can’t give you a new one. The machine is broken... I’m sorry but last time I checked we all pay for the library through our taxes.. the library is to help benefit the community but this lady who gave us a rude attitude didn’t want us to have access to study guides. Are you serious? Horrible service and because of people like her... people won’t be going to libraries anymore and she’ll just...
