Lucky Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Islip

This has been my go to Chinese kitchen for over 10 years. I understand as time goes on things cost more money but the quality of food that I’ve been getting lately is definitely subpar. I can’t even get what I order if there’s a miscommunication I wish someone would say something instead of just sending me whatever they think I want and then to get told I’ll get credit for next time? I don’t know if I’m gonna have a next time because I might find a new Chinese spot. One consistent thing is the delivery guy he’s the nicest person on the planet but I don’t know if ownership changed or there’s just new people working there whatever since the one lady that always answer the phone has not been there everything slowly seems to be slipping and it’s a shame because this was one of the best Chinese spots over here And it said to think that now I’m not gonna be using them I’m not gonna keep spending money for nothing. Burnt chicken overcooked wings cheesy ass amount of boneless ribs undercooked crab Rangoon and this stuff is now costing more every time I order. Poor Customer Service I really hope that something changes up there because I don’t know if I even wanna order from them again seeing this...

The number of orders I placed with this establishment they should know what I like. 90% of the time it's the same thing. Especially when it comes to the fried rice. To be fair when I remember to tell them that I do not want peas and carrots in my rice somehow they end up in there anyway. That and the one time too many they would exclude an item that I paid for. Mostly the beverage that I order. A few times it happened before closing and they refused to send my beverage. Not cool at all. Especially if the rice or lo mein is dry by the time it reaches me. I really enjoyed the Chow Mei Fun here. Was fresh and delicious. I added a little Cajun spice for fun. Would have loved to get a few more veggies in my meal. But the broccoli was cooked to perfection.. Overall the quantity of the food is decent, I usually always get two meals out of my dish (unless I'm super hungry). Price is good compared to other similar Chinese take out. Place is quaint, a few tables for a quick sit down lunch. They usually have my order ready upon my arrival even though they are a busy place.
