Broadway Rental (Formally: Taylor Rental) — Attraction in Town of Lancaster

I went to Taylor Rental to rent tables, chairs, tent, bounce house, and dunk tank. In March I went for an estimate and they guy behing the counter told me that the bounce house and the dunk tank were $160 each but because I was getting the tent combo I was already paying for delivery so they were going to take the $60 delivery fee off each the bounce house and dunk tank which would make them $100 each. I went back into Taylor Rental in June to reserve and pay for everything and the lady behind the counter had no clue what I was talking about when I told her what the other guy had told me. I ended up paying full price for everything. When I asked when the equipment would be set up she had told me the Thursday before the party (the party was on a Saturday) she also said I had to be there for the set up. I took off of work to meet the guys for the set up. They came with everything but the tent. They told me the tent would be here by the end of the day. By 330pm that day I had called the office and they took my number and said they would call me back after they called the driver. They did not end up calling back. Now because they didnt show Thursday for the tent I had to take another day off of work and lose another days pay. I called them again Friday morning and the lady there told me that she didnt know what was going on and that she would call me back. 10 mins later she called me back and said 2pm. I then went into the store and tried to get somewhat of a price break for my troubles of losing 2 days pay over this. The lady behind the counter was rude and unprofessional. No help was given. When the tent finally came it wasnt even Taylor Rental, it was Brett Tent. I asked the guy what happened to yesterday and he said they didn't even get the order until Friday morning after I called. I rented a karaoke unit and was told that I could plug my iPhone or iPod in it for extra music. When I got the unit there was no instruction booklet. The only iPod or iPhone I could plug in was the original iPhone or pod as the inputs were extremely outdated. I tried to use the unit but it stopped working after an hour. I brought it back and was told that I was supposed to use the RCA cords it came with to plug in my computer. Computers haven’t come with RCA outlets for over 7 years. They lady at the desk was rude (apparently she always is by the other reviews). When I told her there was no instruction book she said no one returned it from previous rentals and that I just had to google it. She said she wasn’t techie and so she really didn’t know much about it and that her kids use it all the time. I didn’t rent it from her kids. She offered me 50% back and said she would play it for a while and if it stopped she may give me more money back. This place is not a rental place for party stuff it is more for equipment that you get at Home Depot. They need to stick to that type of work. Will always encourage people to stay away from there. I can't say enough about my first time renting from here ,the equipment was clean and ready to go, I had an issue with the piece of equipment I rented, (it was operator error),I never used equipment like this before, called them at 4:30pm & the service technician came out at 5 minutes to 7 o'clock, had the equipment up and running in mere minutes was friendly, non judgmental, can't say enough about him ,he had me ready for the next days work, the equipment saved me time and wear and tear on myself, the receptionist, (I think her name was Michelle),was helpful and professional and patient with my questions, and extremely helpful to get the tech to come out to help me ,all at no extra cost to me, just another day, next time I need to rent equipment, you know who I'm going to call, would recommend Taylor True Value Rental to anyone who needs it, very...
