Thai House — Restaurant in Town of Cheektowaga

I'm so disappointed in this restaurant. This was our favorite for 10 years, with the exception of covid down time. On July 17th whomever was cooking made our order so hot we could not eat it. The woman who said she cooked the food told me customers keep asking her for "more spicy", but I told her I only ordered medium as I had in all the years I had before and did not request that. She refused to let me speak to the owner and did not refund my money. She said "I need no order from there no more" because I said the food was bad. I told her I just didn't order it hot and she was so angry and insulted she said don't come back. I've been going to that restaurant so long I remember the owner's children growing up there. I am disgusted with how I was treated and the owner probably doesn't even know-they're a really nice family. I wrote the owner an email about this and have received no response. But I hope he reads this knowing he lost a loyal customer because of that disrespectful woman. Will not be returning, unfortunately. He used to make the BEST Burmese food, but this lady cooking now is horrible and there's no way I can believe he'd allow this treatment of his customers if he knew. We went for Valentine's Day, the server seated us right away and gave us appropriate time to peruse the menu before presenting the specials. We ordered the special Cali roll appetizer and we were delighted with it's swift and FRESH arrival! The rice was perfectly chewy and soft. For appetizers, we ordered the fresh spring roll with shrimp and Crispy eggplant. The spring rolls were the biggest I've ever seen. The rice wrapper was perfectly soft, not dried out and chewy. Crispy eggplant tempura coins were presented with a tangy sweet sauce that went well with the dish. They were just out of the fryer and the batter was very crispy.

Main course I ordered the clay pot seafood. Hot, spicy and loaded with delectable seafood. Companion ordered the Pad See Ew and declared that the new favourite. All the food was delicious and presented promptly and hot. For dessert I ordered the fried banana which was a quarter cut banana wrapped in egg roll wrappers with dipping sauce. The food, service is excellent, at a reasonable price. I had Green Curry Chicken, mildly Spiced (Heat) and the appetizer of Tuna that was perfect, with fresh Ginger and Wasabi. Everything was very clean and spotless. I go every time I’m in the area.

Sept. 18, 2018 Once again in the area, and the Thai food was outstanding for freshness and flavor. Their service and pleasantness is very good. I will try some of their other dishes when back visiting. Don’t be fooled by outside, I’ve been there when restaurant was packed, and cars parked in rear. The inside is very nicely done. Love it.

Today 11/17/2018 again in Depew NU and the good is spectacular. I’ve been to many Thai Restaurants and this is hands down, the best. I crave their food for price and taste. Awesome Green Curry Chicken. I also get the Green Curry Chicken with Tuna Nigiri that...
