This Museum is one of my favorite places and not just because it's located in my hometown. It's one of the very few museums that actually do not rope off individual rooms and allow the children to explore up close all of the wonderful articles that make up the 19th Century Malone history! Maureen was very sweet and answered our questions without making us feel rushed. You might want to call ahead before you plan your visit there as this museum is run by volunteers but it's definitely worth going to see!!! They also have a wonderful little country store inside with all kinds of books available about the North country.

Visited a couple of weeks ago when we saw the sign on the main road and was sad to see it was closed. We called the number and Cheryl was so kind and offered for us to come in and take a look around. She ended up joining us and sharing lots of great history and information about the house! Beautiful place with an even better tour guide!!!
