The Bronx River Pathway covers apt 12 miles from Kensico Dam in Valhalla to Bronxville. It follows the Bronx River, hence its name, and is located within a reserve that is home to many species of wildlife . The pathway is paved, well maintained, and is suitable for running, walking, and cycling. It can be used year-round, but it isn't lit at night.

I do at least 1-2 run or bike rides every week during the summer. Sunday is especially nice where the highway is closed for pedestrians.

Never knew that there is a dam and a park at the trailhead.
