My family and I celebrated Thanksgiving this year not at home, but as guests at a restaurant that feels as authentic as home. Mughal Palace in Valhalla, NY became our clear choice of restaurant, having become its frequent customers since we discovered this gem of an Indian restaurant six months ago. Our group of six had the most enjoyable and memorable Thanksgiving gathering! We were so glad to skip the turkey and its equally ordinary side dishes. We opted for an extraordinary dining experience with an overflowing buffet of fine Indian cuisine delicacies. We loved the Navaratan Korma, Avial, Vegetable Biryani, Lamb Muglai, Murgh Tandoori, Peshwari Nan, and nearly two dozen other supremely prepared entrees, soups, salads, appetizers, and desserts! We complimented Mughal Palace's chef on his five-star cuisine! The richest, all-you-can-eat buffet at Mughal Palace is likely the best-kept secret in all of Westchester County and our region. Alam, the friendly owner of Mughal Palace, and our kind server, Russell, greeted us with genuine warmth and offered us personalized, excellent service. The restaurant's authentic, inviting decor effortlessly transported us to India. My family and I enjoyed a most delightful Thanksgiving celebration and memorable dining experience at Mughal Palace. We eagerly look forwarding to returning! Having dined at many other Indian restaurants in Westchester, Fairfield, and NYC over the years, we unconditionally rate Mughal Palace as the best Indian restaurant we have...
Read moreIt was my 22nd birthday today and my first time ever eating at that place. When I first walked into the restaurant 15 minutes after they opened in the morning, the owner and staff were very nice that they created such a friendly atmosphere for me as well as showing great hospitality to enjoy my birthday. Man, the food is 100% delicious and amazing because of the sauce they put for the chicken and lamb! The Spinach with tofu was also so delicious as well as the rice followed by the Samosa tasting very good. When I first ate the Samosa, it was so good! The owner there was the best one that I know because when my family and I ask for a second plate of rice, he did not hesitate and was very happy to hear that I wanted more rice so feel free to ask him or the servers for more rice and they will kindly get it for you and make you feel welcomed. To me, this was my best birthday lunch ever and that is why I give five stars and an A+ . So if you are looking for a yummy place to eat, I highly recommend going there and supporting their business because the employees there make delicious food for you to eat, enjoy, and make you walk out satisfied and full. You can always ask to have some left overs in a box for you to eat. Since the employees treated me with such kindness on my Birthday, I made sure to finish all the food for them by finishing all the foods that I got and I am very happy that I got a chance...

I grew up on the Indian Food from this restaurant, it was a regular GO TO for my family once a month or so. Now living in CT, it is hard to find anything quite as good as Mughal Palace. We LOVE this restaurant and the owners! The food is absolutely delicious. Every dish we have ever had has been fresh, seasoned, not too salty and not too oily. (Menu faves include: BAINGAN BHURTHA, NAVARATAN KORMA, AVIAL, and SUBJI SAG MALAI). For the meat or fish eaters the Prawns and Chicken Tikka Masala are fabulous too! We also love their Onion and Garlic NAAN. If you are looking for a delicious meal and to support a local business. Give them a call. They are always willing to accommodate any food sensitivities or...
