I bid on, won and paid for a "signed" print. However, on picking it up it was apparent that the framing had been likely done by the consignor as there were pen marks on the unevenly trimmed matting. On removing the print from the framing it was apparent that it was a photo copy of a print, and that the signature was part of the photo copy. Apparently the consignor passed off a worthless print to this auction house where they in their description stated it was "boldly signed". A worthless piece of trash. This should have been rejected for listing by this auction house, but like too many of the auction houses in the Hudson Valley garbage is accepted and promoted.
