The aluminum surface is great for runners who suffer from shin splits and knee issues. There are no fees for parking or to enter the walkway. Parking is on the Newburgh side north of the westbound lanes. Great Hudson River views year round!

Nice wide pedestrian path for running, biking, and passing others. The bridge does shake a little when large truck roll by, and the views are pretty stellar.

Easy access, close parking. The walkway is steel plate, so not the most comfortable for running. Also, you have to be comfortable with the cars whizzing by from behind you. Not great if you're afraid of heights, obviously. The fence on the river side is very tall but the view is open from the ground to the top, again, not great if you don't...
