Save yourself from the people they have hired to work here. Their employee decided it was a good idea to start hosing down the produce inside without warning while a ton of people were standing next to it, including my 5 month old son in his stroller. Thank God I acted fast to shield my son so he didn't get wet but she did a great job of soaking me and a bunch of other people with the hose. She continued to do this for a good 2-3 minutes with complete disregard for all of us who were now hiding in the corner away from her and her hose. She thought it was absolutely hilarious as did the other employees who told her she did a great job. I felt like I was in another dimension.

We have been willing to pay the often exorbitant prices at Rottkamp, for the freshness and sweetness that comes with locally-grown produce. But this was worse than a waste of money, this was stomach-turning. We could not possibly have been the only people to have bought worm-infested corn. Shouldn’t the Nassau Count Board of Health inspect these...
