I have a Technics turntable I purchased in 1978 that needed some help with the tonearm lifter. The first shop I brought it to had the turntable for a month and eventually said it would cost over $600 to fix AND they wouldn't do it. Before giving up I found Brewster Electronics online, called them and brought it to their shop. Within 2 weeks they contacted me saying my turntable was ready and all it needed was some cleaning and tonearm lift lube. The price was great and my turntable works as new. My precious JVC KD A55 cassette deck lost it's left channel decades ago. I had moved to CDs of course but I always intended to bring this unit back to life given my hundreds of cassette recordings. I recorded these with DBX encoding and octave equalizer settings. They were beyond anything CD could do. I found Dave's Shop and his crew brought the deck back for me. This is important as it's range is 30 to 16,000 at+-3db. Fantastic for follow a cassette system. I played my first tape Live Rust and I was floored by how good it sounds.
