Sister's Nail & Spa — Attraction in Town of Stony Point

I usually don’t write reviews, and I especially do not write reviews where I never wanna go to again but this salon needs this review so they can learn from my experience. I call nail salons around me. I asked for a walk in for a soak off and a manicure. I asked for the pricing it works for me. I let them know. I’m five minutes away. I get there. I tell them once again what I wanted the lady told me a gel manicure would be a better choice because I’m removing my nails and they will be too weak. I agree we move on. I tell her I have gel X nails on a lot of nail salons around Rockland County aren’t very familiar with gel X nails so I wasn’t surprised. I informed her they can be removed just as a regular acrylic set. She tells me no and she proceeds to use those cheap nail tips that a lot of nail salon in Rockland County seem to use to remove my gel X nails that my beautiful, talented friend did (xolished on IG). You may be asking yourself why didn’t you go to your friend who did your nails ?My friend was booked like I said he’s VERY talented so he had no time for me that worked with my schedule back to the story. I informed the lady who is doing my nails her name is Jenny for reference she did not listen to me, and proceeded to remove my nails how she wanted to remove them my left ring finger bled and proceeds to tell me that my nails have fungus that’s why she doesn’t like to do gel X nails and adds acrylic to my BROKEN NAIL so she can add polish on it. For the record no fungus was on my nails and no proper prep work was done to my nails. What she could’ve told me was she did not know how to remove gel X nails , and I could’ve gone to a different nail salon it’s not that big of a deal if you don’t know what...

Long Version: My sister found this spot and recommended it. Great experience from Day 1. I walked in (no appointment), and they didn't have anyone available. I was leaving for the airport in a few hours so I wouldn't be able to come back. The owner was so accommodating that she was able to get one of her techs to come in early to take care of me. That's the level of customer service they provide. Lots of colors available. Best back massage chair I've ever experienced. While it isn't mandatory, I would always make an appointment because they stay booked & busy! I suggest coming alone - It's a boutique-style space so there isn't a waiting area or space for...

Everytime I go they always give me Jenny for my nails. One time I had someone else and she was great. But today I went and they gave me Jenny again, she is rude and very sloppy. She gets mad when you show her she’s missed a spot or done something wrong. She wouldn’t even give me an extra coat of gel and now I’m wearing a sheer color which is not what I asked. Showed her a pic and she did not give me anything close to it.
