Budget Motor Inn — Hotel in Town of Stony Point

I have never been treated so poorly at any other motor lodge and or hotel. I have been to many diffrent ones and never have I seen such filth.Not only is this place repulsive and filthy. The manager and the people who worked the front desk are utterly rude unprofessional and should not work in customer service or hospitality. When we arrived we were treated with an attitude not even a smile.We wanted privacy and was given a room right next to the office.|Once we entered the Room it smelled foul. The bed was lap sided and was missing Springs. The Room in the door had one part of the door latch no privacy at all. The bathroom was the worst. All the towers were off white yellowish there were Brown stains and little black hairs all over the towels. They were dead bugs behind the toilet on the floor. The curtains in the shower were yellow and Orange ish with stains. When we confronted the front desk about these issues we asked is there a different Room that is cleaner that we can have please If not we would like out money back. Unfortunately am in between permanent residences with my other half and even before I “moved in” with him, his amt is $80 A FLIPPIN’ NIGHT!! This isn’t worthy of $5 a night!!

Room cleaning guy doesn’t even offer fresh towels, sheets, garbage bags, or soaps each day to those who stay here on a longer than normal basis. I’m sorry but…isn’t that what a room attendant is SUPPOSED to do??

And cleanliness…I’ve lost count of the number of BROWN, SCURRYING UNINVITED INSECTS that I’ve seen. Soooo gross. Want a skin rash or foot disease? Plenty to go around here I’m sure. Night owl? No worries, walls are practically nonexistent… you hear EVERYTHING!! (You have no idea how many times I’ve had to yell the phrase “FINISH HER!!” at like 3:30 in the morning. Trust me, I don’t consider myself lucky in ANY WAY being privy to front row, orchestras section to ANIMAL PLANET, LIVE!, being able to experience others’ reproductive rituals while accompanied by their animalistic mating calls.)

Only good thing about this place is the shopping which is all within...

This place was HORRIBLE..I had to scrub down the shower. There was an inch thick of dust around the base board mouldings. The walls were dirty. There was a hole in the wall that was patched up with a slab of un finished plywood. The comforter had a cigarette burn hole in it..The room smelled of stale cigarettes..I have never seen such a dirty out dated disgusting hotel room..We arrived late and they messed up our reservations by giving us a room with one single Queen size bed when we booked two full size beds..they had nothing left and it was too late to find something else..their web site shows nice clean modern rooms with wifi and phone..there was an old dirty box tv on a table that didn't work and no phone. There wasn't even a pole in the dirty little closet to hand a coat up..I never had a worst experience in my life. Do yourself a favor and don't stay in this...
