The Petting Zoo at Breezeway Farm — Attraction in Town of Thompson

Please do not support this business. What I saw was heartbreaking. Several if not all the animals appeared to be visibly neglected, distressed, underweight, and housed in unsanitary enclosures.

Especially the puppies that were very obviously neglected, dirty, ungroomed, and underweight lacked access to basic clean water or food. Enclosures were dirty, and you could tell they were frightened by people.

Not to mention the ponies who were visibly distraught and shaking while being chained up so they could be painted on by children which was also very disturbing.

This is not just a matter of poor aesthetics—it’s a serious concern for animal welfare. I left feeling shaken and upset.

Until this facility makes major improvements to the care and treatment of its animals, I cannot recommend anyone support them. Animals...

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. I’m so upset & can’t believe what we experienced. Please do not support this place. All the animals look very distressed. They are keep in horrible conditions laying on their own fecus & obviously not well feed or groomed. Every animal in this horrific place looked underweight. There was one that even had his horn so long that it curled almost going inside it’s eyes. It also had a broken leg it was limping. It’s obvious they do not care for the animals here. The horsies/ ponies towards the back were being painted on I never saw this in my life. They are tied up with two chains on both sides to hold their heads. They cannot move. It's not a zoo and should not come up in Google search for "zoos near me" It's a disappointing rip off and I have no idea how these positive reviews are on here. I paid $45 for myself, my husband, my 2yr granddaughter, a pony ride & 2 small cones of animal feed. There are about a dozen pens/cages. They have goats, small horses, alpacas, rabbits, chickens, peacocks, a turkey and puppies. All of the pens are full of feces and not fresh water There's one helmet for riders on the pony ride.
