KFC — Restaurant in Town of Thompson

Visiting from out of state and needed a quick meal and since most places close so early in this area, we decided on KFC because they had later drive thru hours and you could place an order through the convenience of the online app. Placed an order but wasn't able to get there until right before close. The girl who greeted us via the drive thru was extremely kind and very understanding of our later pick up. She even brought our order out to the car. They were out of biscuits so the Manager was so kind to substitute with a few chicken tenders for the inconvenience. We had a nice conversation with the Manager on duty. She was very professional and truly appeared to love her job, something you do not see much of these days. Customer service is a thing of the past these days but this Manager on duty went above and beyond for the customer even though they were closing in 10 minutes. We will return to this KFC in the future as customer service and courtesy go a long way and she was a terrific example of a hard working employee who cares. If my family and I could rate this restaurant a zero we would in a heartbeat. We ordered our dinner through the drive through and the restaurant kitchen was so busy on a Tuesday evening I was told like many other vehicles ordering out to wait ten minutes and they will deliver our dinner to us.We ended up waiting an hour for someone to come out and talk to us but even then nobody came out to talk to us. So my wife went inside and she was waiting ten minutes to pick up our dinner. What also pissed us off is that the person at the drive through gave my wife an attitude about our order and he should of put it on the receipt if we ordered crispy or original chicken.our dinner was delicious but there was no warning to the customers that the biscuits changed from large biscuits to now small hockey puck size biscuits and weren't fluffy biscuits either like they used to be. After this visit my wife and I or my family will never set foot through the restaurant door or order from the drive...

It was the worst!!!! We wanted 2 of the $20 bucket deals, they didnt have extra crispy,your not allowed to substitute any sides even if you pay extra.we ordered 2 pot pie 5$ boxes they only had 1 so we were told it would be 20minutes so we sat down to wait,15 minutes later an employees came out to tell us that the cook forgot to put our pot pie in the oven so would we like anything else,how about chicken & waffles not sry we out of that also, I asked if they would give me the pot pie so I could cook it at home,as it was for my 11 yr old granddaughter and is a very picky eater, no we couldnt do that either SO this is why we dont go to KFC anymore because EVERY time we go their is a problem.They werent very busy and it was 5:30 PM and their was a sign on the the door they would be closing at 8 due to computer updates.so I guess they decided not to cook anymore food.
