This has unfortunately become, over the last 2 or 3 years, one of the most frustrating retail stores (this specific location). The Monticello location, as a whole, is packed full of the rudest customers and as a result has burned the staff out to also being rude. The tire location, specifically, is typically friendly and helpful but are NEVER fast, on time, close to on time, or have any sense of obligation to being "on time". A 1 hour appointment typically means your vehicle will begin being serviced 90 minutes late, take another 90 minutes to be completed, sit on the lift for 20 minutes waiting for a second signature, then be backed out into the lot. In all, a 45 minute job will require an appointment to be made a week in advance, and plan on walking around a rude Walmart for 3 to 4 hours waiting for your tires to be done. You will need supernatural assistance if you have an issue. My own example is tires that had a 45,000 mile treadlife warranty (purchased specifically for the warranty) worn down to the wear bars in 24,000 miles (rotated on time, yes. Records of rotations, yes) are not covered, pro-rated, or in any way "warrantied" because the sun rises in the east (or something like that). This is the very last place to go, but in the end they still have equipment that changes tires at rates much lower than an average...

I called this auto center about six times today to confirm two tires can be changed today and was told as long as we bring one tire from another Walmart it can be done since they only had one in stock. I get there at my scheduled time and was told this couldn’t be done and it’s against Walmarts policy. Not ONCE did this lovely woman mention this on the phone and then told us well you didn’t mention this on the phone. Now, where exactly would I have gotten this information if she wasn’t the one I talked to? 11/10 worst experience, don’t waste your time as this woman obviously has no idea how to run a auto center.
