In the deli yesterday there was a young man who came up to me asking what I wanted. Those were his words. Not how can I help you or any of the form of that. When I told him he went right to slicing the turkey. He never asked how thick or thin I wanted it or anything like that. Meanwhile, the woman who was helping the person before me went above and beyond with the person they were helping. The man helping me never even smiled. He simply asked what I wanted and handed it to me and that was the end. It was unprofessional. He's probably young and needs some training on courtesy and working with people. This grocery store is terrible. It doesn’t feel clean and there’s a ton of stuff that’s past the best buy date still on the shelves. That’s the stuff that’s typically on sale. If you don’t have their membership card, you’re paying full price for stuff that’s borderline expired or expired if you’re not paying attention. I just realized I paid for a box of gummies I thought was free because I didn’t have their card. I also paid double the price I thought I was paying for a lot of stuff that’s about expired. I hate any store that to get the best prices, you need their card. Just give the best price you can regardless!!! I would recommend going to wegmans over here every time. The way the managers treat their employees is terrible here! I am shopping when I hear yelling, and to my surprise its the managers! I have seen this on many occasions. Fist off you do not treat employees that way, second you talk in private! You don't yell across the store. I have had so many problems with Weis. I Applied for a job, but I'm glad I didn't get it. They didn't even respond to me, when they are clearly hiring. Employees have been downright disrespectful to me on a few occasions. I have also had other problems with this store too numerous to mention. Me and my family refuse to shop here anymore and I advise you not to either. Just skip this and go elsewhere.
