I've been here a couple times over the last couple of years, and I've had a pleasant experience every time. I don't usually enjoy wine, but I've discovered that I enjoy port on occasion. And not just any port, mind you. I did a wine tasting here and discovered that there were a few ports that I liked. I thought that I'd be able to enjoy other ports too, and I've been mostly wrong about that. Just remember that preferences are very personal and I happen to enjoy one of the whites and one of the reds. Read moreThis little tasting room for Moonstone Crossing Winery is located just minutes from a breathtaking beach that is fairly deserted most of the year. The town it is located in, Trinidad, CA, is a quaint seaside village just 10 minutes north of Arcata, CA with a population hovering around 310. As a random aside, the musician Captain Beefheart died here about 8 years ago. This winery is wonderful -- they have something for everyone.
