Moonstone Crossing Winery — Attraction in Trinidad

I've been here a couple times over the last couple of years, and I've had a pleasant experience every time. I don't usually enjoy wine, but I've discovered that I enjoy port on occasion. And not just any port, mind you. I did a wine tasting here and discovered that there were a few ports that I liked. I thought that I'd be able to enjoy other ports too, and I've been mostly wrong about that. Just remember that preferences are very personal and I happen to enjoy one of the whites and one of the reds. This little tasting room for Moonstone Crossing Winery is located just minutes from a breathtaking beach that is fairly deserted most of the year. The town it is located in, Trinidad, CA, is a quaint seaside village just 10 minutes north of Arcata, CA with a population hovering around 310. As a random aside, the musician Captain Beefheart died here about 8 years ago. This winery is wonderful -- they have something for everyone. We always have such a great time exploring the vast aray if wines they have, while listening to Hayley expand in each one with her vast knowledge. Today, we deemed Don "brilliant" for the incredible job that he and Sharon do. Their wines are truly something to experience. With their expansive offerings, there is something for everyone!
