Long version: Every so often I have to write a bad review... It's unfortunate, especially when it's on a place that I used to frequent. Assistance: Our server checked on us once after serving our food. Not great, she wasn't mean, but not attentive. Balance: Quality

AT LEAST THE VIEW WAS NICE
The view is amazing. That alone is worth the stop here for a bite; thought it might not be a quick bite. We ordered breakfast items and while they were good, it took close to an hour to get our food. An omelette. Almost one hour. Ugh.
Normally I would love to spend an hour staring at the water and enjoying a meal, but we were on a road trip, driving up the coast. There are lots of pretty places to see, and we had a certain amount of time to get to some of these spots before they closed. So breakfast was supposed to be quick and easy.
We walked in and the place was packed. A waitress saw us and casually motioned for us to go to the front of the place. I guess the stairs outside took us to the back/side entrance. A hostess ran into us half way and pointed to a table by the window back in the room we came from. Several minutes later we were greeted and finally placed our order. Unfortunately, service wasn't as good as the food. Once it finally arrived, she never checked back with our table until we were just about done eating. The room isn't all the big, so even though I mentioned it was crowded, it wasn't an unmanageable number of diners demanding her attention.
I really enjoyed my food and even with my coffee and his soda we only spent about $20. For the view, that's awesome. It's sad though because a place like this should leave everyone with a five-star experience. Service is part of that. The food is good and the view is great. And prices are spot-on for the travelers. Glad we stopped but wish it hadn't taken so long to get back...
Read moreWent here for a Sunday morning breakfast, which turne was packed! This was a good sign, and we were NOT disappointed! Despite the number of people waiting to be seated, the wait time was NOT long at all! We waited on the expansive deck, watching birds landing and diving for the large fish swimming and jumping around in the ocean. The view was lovely! We were seated at an intimate table , next to the expansive wall of windows with a beautiful view! The menu is expansive, with breakfast available all day. I ordered the 3 enormous pancake breakfast with a scrambled egg, bacon, and hash browns. The maple syrup tasted like it was drawn from the trees that morning and nice and warm. Both the butter and syrup were in individual separate containers with a more than adequate amount! One could determine how much of each they wanted on their flapjacks. The pancakes had been made homemade, upon orderering, and not a mix. They were light and airy! It was more food than I could eat! The leftovers were placed in a nice sized heavy-duty cardboard container... not plastic! This could easily be cleaned and recycled. YEAH! Leftovers were enough food for another breakfast. One might think that the prices are a bit high, but the nice portions, more than make up for this. I highly recommend this venue! Breakfast, lunch,or dinner...
