This beach is lovely and dramatic for a low ride morning stroll rain or shine. The car park is right next to the light house and the haul out beach. You can see beautiful haystack rocks and meat a few local dogs if you are lucky. Bring rain gear because it is misty on the shore much of the time. Stunning place at the edge of the continent on the Pacific Ocean. At low tide it has a little beach to find and the end of the big rocks.

The northern coast of California is a magical place. People in the area actually still take the time to gather and watch the sunset. Such a rare thing to witness in this age. This location is pretty popular and can get quite crowded but our experience during sunset was amazing. Even during the summer you may want to consider a lite jacket and blanket.

Beautiful beach in Trinidad! It was very windy when we went, but that means it was sunny which was nice. It's pretty cold, not much tanning weather for me, but great adventures to explore. There are surfers in the water and trails to walk, as well as a restaurant and lighthouse nearby. Parking is plentiful and right at the edge of the beach. Love it!

This beach was ideal! Beautiful, great for surfing. Very pretty rock formations. Looks like something from a movie. Great for families and kids too. Highly recommend. Enough space to find a perfect spot to relax. Decent size parking lot.

Trinidad is stunning. Somewhat of a micro climate here.. College Cove can be 72’ with no wind while at the same time In Eureka 15 min south it’s blown out and 63’

A fun place to explore. It's at the bottom of the little town of Trinidad. The people here are usually nice. A wonderful spot to have lunch and enjoy the beach.

Description
Trinidad State Beach is a state beach 20 miles north of Eureka in Humboldt County, California. The offshore rocks are part of the California Coastal National Monument. Colorful tide pools provide specimens to Humboldt State University's Fred Telonicher Marine Laboratory located in Trinidad.
