First time visiting this fairgrounds. We were visiting as royalty from Hardin County. The fair was easy to find with google. They had bathroom houses they were dated but clean! The grounds were clean and had an incline heading to the animal barns. The grounds had cement lanes so easy for strollers and wheelchairs. We didn’t visit the show arena due to having a show with animals going in and out, but did visit the animal barns. We also stopped by the Veterans spot in one of the merchants building and we really enjoyed talking with them! We didn’t see any royalty, and understood their responsibilities. We attended nearly every county Fair within an hour's drive of Dayton and this fair had a far better selection of eateries, rides, and a great tribute to the veterans. The demolition derby is a favorite of ours and it was nothing short of fun for us all. It seems that no matter where you go for a derby it always starts late. Read moreThe Miami County fairgrounds is a small, but nicely setup fairgrounds in Troy. I've been going to each fair for about 10+ years now, and I've always enjoyed going there with the family.
