this place is really below a one star only because of the manager. His is one of those people ....if you pay rent on time, you can break the rules of the lease you sign. Even if you commit harassment against your neighbors and others in the park continually. Steal belongs from neighbor's in the dark of the night and you can threaten someone's life and still live there. Manager currently gives breaks to those he likes and uses others just to get his $$$$bonus for keeping tenants in his managed trailer/ rv park every year. The current manager will sell you a very cheap unacceptable beat up trailer as is. Used trailers go for cheap. The trailers are just made to look nice enough to sell quickly. Fairview Manor will never really fixing anything. It's all about the money not owners or renters. You don't know what really is not working til you move in. Remember you bought it as is. Manager does not care once it is out of his hands. Makes him look really great to property owners ELS. The office is NEVER around when you need anything done (faxing, copies made) You always have to leave a message. Grounds are so poorly kept. Looks nasty, there is so much dying vegetation through out the park. The lawn areas have natsy dry areas that barely get water. Making the park look nice costs Fairview Manor money that Management does not want to spend. Extra monies the park makes is put into a more expensive property across town. Never ever have any weeds on your rented property. Management will warn, then they will make you pay Fairview Manor 80.00 a hour to clean it up. They don't care if you have any kind of disability. Fairview manor has all kinds of weeds all over the common areas, but you better follow his rules. Keep your property weed free. There are no exciting activities, not even exercise equipment to stay in some kind of shape as you grow older. So make sure you plan your own activities or you will grow old to fast at Fairview manor. Lots of tenant's have nothing to do that are so bored that all they can talk about is everyone else's stuf., drive.over 10 miles an hour. You will be chased down or stalked until they speak their mind about your diving habits. Even if that person themselves drives fast also. If you have pets make sure you pickup after them asap. Fairview Manor also has persons in the park that will speak their mind about pet. do-do clean up. You will be harassed. A lot of nosey persons in this park. Be very careful. Suggest maybe just staying to yourself is best. Lots of transients on property using pool, hot tub, showers etc.... Lots of theft. Some really great neighbors. Most are selling and moving to safer and better managed properties. That is the really the saddest part of Fairview manor. Don't forget the management will play games with you one way or another. This includes paperwork on file. If and when you make a. mistake in the park, you will not be warned 1st. If management does not like you, you will be removed with or without an explaination.
LIVE AT FAIRVIEW MANOR...
Read moreI absolutely love living in Fairview Manor! The manager, Vicki Cordova, is top notch in my book! She was the assistant manager when I first moved in and really worked hard to help me settle in. When she became the manager, things have improved so much around the complex...new lights throughout the property, pool redone, a lift in the pool area for those who need help in and out of the pool, a small area with workout equipment in the community center, and much more! She listens and she hears you! The community is very well maintained by a one-man band! Richard is the most hard-working guy I have ever met! It could be 114 degrees outside, and he is out there pulling weeds, repairing things, helping people and he always has a smile for ya! I hope I can live here forever! I live in a Class A RV, and I love my lot! It is a spacious lot where I have my RV, an 8x10 and a 3x4 shed, an area for my patio set and ample parking for 2 vehicles! The lot rent is paid once a year in advance, then you pay your water, sewer, trash and electric. This is billed each month and is amazingly inexpensive! We put our trash out on Monday and Thursday mornings and Richard comes by on his golf cart with the trailer attached and picks it up and takes it to the 4 dumpsters and 1 recycling dumpster for us! I have been so happy here and every day feels like a blessing living at...
Read moreI like living here, but beware! If you rent payment goes missing in the mail or returned to the bank like it has happened to many: (1) you will NOT get a courtesy call/notice/reminder that no payment has been received, meaning you are not given an opportunity to correct the issue to avoid late payment fees; (2) the late fees charged is NOT reflected on your paper statement, instead the "prev balance" is changed with no explanation (is that even legal to issue statements that don't reflect late charges/fees?), and the only answer you get is "it is in the lease agreement", so they expect you to figure out what they charged you; (3) forget about getting adjustment to any fees. Other places I rented at knew I made payment every month on time, always pay extra, and would give a courtesy call when my payment didn't get there, and when the mailman or the bank messes up, they would work with me to reduce late payment fees. NOT this place. Forget it. So heaven forbids the bank takes the money to pay your rent, but the check...
